Fresh out of plastic and off the pallet, my lawn mower did not start. It's now sitting in the front of my yard. Useless I never got to use it so I cannot comment on its ease of use or maintenance.

This mower is and has been great.. the amazon service was outstanding and it was brand new from the crate. However, it had a funny squeal from the front left wheel.. still trying to diagnose it. But over a Great buy!

This mower requires a peculiar type of blade that is nearly impossible to find and very expensive. I cannot recommend it.

The more I use it the more I like it. I've been looking for something negative about this Mower but I can't find a thing to discredit or complain about it 🤔. Even down to the comfort of the beautifully crafted stitched Leather Seat. I will say I always wanted to own only Briggs and Stratton Engines vs Kohler but this time I wound up with the Kohler 22hp and actually can't complain about it's performance so far. Will report back if any issues.....still searching for something 🤔 12/1/24 report back; I have no complaints as I ran it A Month ago to mulch Leaves, impressed! *I Should've taken the Battery 🔋 out before the cold snap. ... show more

Bought this when we moved to our new home. Was so excited. That excitement didn't last long at all. First, we had gotten this pretty much when they launched at the big box store, went to get a new blade cause the geniuses repaving road left a large chunk of it laying in the tall grass I wasn't able to mow due to their stuff being in the way. Problem with that is they didn't at the time sell the blade, talked to 2 specialist and they had never heard of the pattern this mtd company use (yes, its not actually a CRAFTSMAN brand, but a licensed brand by a rather poor excuse of a company). Ended up getting new spindles with the more common pattern and it worked great. I noticed a few weeks in that the left wheel would not spin proper, had to pull handle back and push back up again to get it to spin with the other. Next issue was the deck weld broke off so the right side of my deck was on the ground. This was bout 9 months after owning so now it's held up by an eyebolt with a piece of chain on one side cause they refused to help and the local shops were only doing 'spring tune ups' while my warranty ended coverage. Customer support for the MTD was 0 help on the matter. Then the engine troubles started, I had done the oil, filter, fresh gas, installed a gas shut off before the first winter storing. Kept battery on trickle charge in garage. Starter goes bad the next year, easy and cheap enough fix. Brand new batteries and the replacement starter is quite larger than what came on it so I have to use a jumpbox to get enough power to the starter it seems. Now the starter solenoid is out. Have nothing but issues. I would rather push mow my 2 acres than deal with this everytime I have to mow, but someone had stole my push mower so thats out of the question. Long story short, poor quality, poor service. Go with a reputable company that didn't license their name out through MTD, such as Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet. ... show more
