The YG2860 features exclusive and industry leading continuously variable transmission (CVT) offering superior speed variability to keep the mowing at a suitable and a comfortable pace, adapting to your walking speed. The high-rear-wheels are perfect for uneven terrain and are equipped with double ball bearings and exclusive aggressive spiked tread rubber tires for an increased traction and maneuverability. The MaxFlow volute deck is designed to keep grass clippings airborne longer for superior mulching, or for flowing into the rear bag when needed. They sent a damaged faulty product, and the. Expected me to fix their problem. The screws holding the height adjuster lever were faulty. One screw was broken off completely inside the threaded hole. There’s no way to get it out, and no way to replace it. They sent two new screws, which does not solve anything. This has been going on for over one month. For $400 a customer should not be expected to repair manufacturing mistakes or poor craftsmanship. I demanded a new machine with all parts pieces working, and their old machine to be shipped back to them at their expense. So far CRiCKETS!! Very disappointed. If this is what Made in America means, I may have to reconsider my options. I called this pathetic company and their solution was to send me yet ANOTHER part for me to install myself!! They won’t return my money, and said I have to go back to Amazon to get my $400 back! And they won’t come and get their POS equipment either! They refused to let me talk to a manager… Worst company ever!! ... show more

    • Does the job but with issues
The biggest issue I have will this mower is the grass-cutting height adjustment. That adjustment handle is located right beside the right rear wheel and when you change to the highest setting, that handle rubs that wheel. And it isn't a light rub, but it rubs strong enough you can feel it when you try to back the mower up. I bent that handle inwards towards the center of the machine and it stopped the rubbing at lower heights but starts to rub as you to the higher adjustments. And, that adjustment is only on the rear wheels. The front wheels have no adjustment ability. Other than that, the unit starts on the first pull. With that said, if you read the manual, it says to pull the starter cord a couple of times until you meet resistance before attempting to do the start pull. I think, in that way, you are priming the system which gives you that 1 pull starting. It works so far so why not do it? Now this "priming" only needs to be done on a cold start. If you stop the mower and start it up a few minutes later, it starts on 1 pull. The engine is strong and the front-wheel drive pulls it around very easily. There is only 1 motor rpm setting but it doesn't seem to be too fast or taxing the mower in any way. The walking speed is adjustable and works well for me. I have arthritis in my right hip and cannot move very fast and this mower moves along just right. Other than that height adjustment problem, it is a good mower. I will be fixing that handle by removing some of the manufacturer's sharp bends and once that is done, the handle should not rub the back tire. ... show more

    • good, but not so great!
The speed adjustment isn't so adjustable...they advertised 6 settings mine has one...fast...so fast barely keep up with it @ 75 years young I have difficulty keeping up with the mower and no way to slow it down...overall it is as advertised and a very good mower...easy to start, I was a little skeptical with the no prime and no choke start system, but it starts right up. i was a bit skeptical ... show more

Biggest piece of garbage don't throw your money away used it once and the front assist stopped working It won't raise because the handle rubs against the back wheel so your stuck at the lowest setting just a peice of garbage all around
