The YARDMAX 22" 3-in-1 front wheel drive (FWD) Self Propelled Lawn Mower will make cutting your lawn quick and easy with its high performance 201cc OHV YARDMAX engine with automatic choke system for an easy start, no priming or choking is required. The YG2860 features exclusive and industry leading continuously variable transmission (CVT) offering superior speed variability to keep the mowing at a suitable and a comfortable pace, adapting to your walking speed. The high-rear-wheels are perfect for uneven terrain and are equipped with double ball bearings and exclusive aggressive spiked tread rubber tires for an increased traction and maneuverability. This mower offers seven cutting heights, from 1.38" to 3.55” allowing you to cut your lawn to your specifications by using a single convenient lever. The MaxFlow volute deck is designed to keep grass clippings airborne longer for superior mulching, or for flowing into the rear bag when needed. Convenient deck washout port allows you to clean the deck's underside quickly and easily, simply attach a hose to the port and let the water flush out the dirt so you're ready for your next mow.     • Not a reliable product
I purchased this mower at the beginning of 2024. In May, the mower stopped self-propelling. I contacted YardMax and they sent me a new transmission. I installed the new transmission and the mower started operating again. All was well until the beginning of September when the self-propelled functionality stopped working again. I again contacted YardMax and explained my issue. They told me it was a simple fix and they are sending me a replacement part - though this part is different that the previous part they sent even though it was the exact same issue. I asked about getting a replacement mower since it didn't seem right that a mower this new would have this many issues. I was told that they couldn't replace the unit or give me a refund because I'd bought it from Amazon and not directly from them. Based on the quality of the machine that I've experienced, I wouldn't buy another mower from them or recommend that anyone else did either. If you do buy a YardMax, definitely don't buy it from a third party as that will prevent you from getting an exchange or reimbursement. I'm writing this off as a bad buying choice and going to purchase a reliable mower. ... show more

    • Best lawnmower I’ve ever owned !
Quality is excellent , and I read one review said is to fast for something like in 60’s and I’m age 65 and handle just fine and compare to the past walk behind mowers this one cut hours off my time and rather than using 3 tanks of gas this mower only uses 1 ! Am so impressed but this and cuts excellent! Just so happy to finally find a mower for a good price so happy with ! Highly recommend! ... show more

Remember when you buy, it's cheap for a reason. Repeated problems with the self-propelled unit. Tech support is no value in fixing a problem. When I have called, it was always an Asian who spoke with me. There is a difference between English speak people and American speaking people. There is no 2nd level tech support to speak with.     • This Company!
They sent a damaged faulty product, and the. Expected me to fix their problem. The screws holding the height adjuster lever were faulty. One screw was broken off completely inside the threaded hole. There’s no way to get it out, and no way to replace it. They sent two new screws, which does not solve anything. This has been going on for over one month. For $400 a customer should not be expected to repair manufacturing mistakes or poor craftsmanship. I demanded a new machine with all parts pieces working, and their old machine to be shipped back to them at their expense. So far CRiCKETS!! Very disappointed. If this is what Made in America means, I may have to reconsider my options. I called this pathetic company and their solution was to send me yet ANOTHER part for me to install myself!! They won’t return my money, and said I have to go back to Amazon to get my $400 back! And they won’t come and get their POS equipment either! They refused to let me talk to a manager… Worst company ever!! ... show more

    • Mine broke, where can I get parts?

Bought it 9 months ago and it has worked fine. Thus morning it lost drive while mowing. Had to finish up pushing it. BTW these do NOT push well. Opened it up to see what happened. Apparently the front tension roller (no part number found) disintegrated. I can replace it if I can find the part. Please advise. ETA; 11Sep24. Called customer support, they are sending out replacement parts. During call I had to register mower but it only took a minute or two during the call. The call was easy enough and the gal I talked to was very helpful. Will update again when I get the parts. Update. I called yardmax the day after I wrote this. They were easy to deal with. I had to register but we did that over the phone. Name address when I bought it, simple stuff. The sent the parts out the next day and I received them this morning. Installing them took just a couple minutes and it works again. See other reviews here and how my call was handled I believe they are well aware the roller assembly is problematic. No idea if the one I got has been updated or if it will last just long enough to get me through warranty time. ... show more
