  • Easy to Install - Please be careful with the edge during installation to avoid scratches. STEP 1: Connect the left panel (A), middle panel (C), and right panel (B) withM6 screws (G) and M6 Cap nuts (H). STEP 2: Connect the Bracket (D) to the panels with M6 screws (I). STEP 3: Connect the deflector to the heater reflector with Fix screws (E), and put the protective cover on the fix screws. Then fix the deflector on the heater.
  • Compatible Patio Heaters - Suitable for umbrella-shape patio heaters such as the EAST OAK EO-PH001. Not suitable for pyramid patio heaters and mini patio heaters.

It was like assembling a suit of armor. The blue film came off easier when using a hair dryer. It does what it claims to do. That’s the main thing. It’s mounted on an East Oak patio heater. I was able to assemble and install it by myself (I’ve had a stroke) so I was surprised at myself.

    • Keeps heat
You can turn the patio heater to the area you need warm and not where you don’t need heat. In addition, plants can be behind it and won’t dry or burn because it keeps the heat away.

    • Too heavy for the top deflector
Edited-East Oak once again stood behind their product and provided the necessary parts to make this deflector work without damaging the heater itself. 100% recommend East Oak as a company! This side deflector is way too heavy for the thin top reflector. After less than 1 week of use, the top of my heater is now sagging and the side deflector now deflects upward rendering the side deflector useless. Needs a heavy duty support of some sort to keep the bending from happening due to the weight of this on the out edge of the top deflector. Removed this thing and bought one that attaches closer to the body of the heater so it doesn’t bend the top deflector any more severely than it already is. ... show more

    • Does what it's supposed to
I bought a patio heater and was tired of heating the area behind us and not the deck where everyone sits. I found this one on sale and decided to give it a try. This thing does exactly what it's supposed to and I noticed more of my deck being heated and using less propane to do it. Assembly was easy and straightforward. I know people had reviews that it was so heavy that it bent their heater backwards so I only have the reflector on when I'm using the heater and I take it off after it's cooled off. ... show more

    • UPDATE #2 - Lost another star - It works fine....but!
Update #2 , The company actually reached out to me to offer several new parts that should relieve the bending of a new top. There is a support now from the pole to the bottom of the of the side reflector. I will be installing the new pieces and reporting the results and I am hopeful. Big kudo's to the company, EastOak, for caring and a star upgrade just for that!! Update, lost another star as you also have to put a washer on the three attachment uprights that hold the top as well to keep from punching through the top! The top material is VERY thin! As many others have reported, the stainless steel of the heater top is not strong enough to keep from bending it badly. I had to reinforce the top with metal to strengthen to get it to stop bending, This is a good product line, EXCEPT for the quality of the top. ... show more

Hello all, I have to say, the customer support came through and they replaced the unit with a brand new one. The new unit seems to have been upgraded from the original and now works perfectly. Would recommend and also recommend a cover for days with bad weather.

Not much to say. This thing really works. It completely reflect the heat. Used only once, so I can’t vouch for durability, but I believe it’s going to last. Most important, I couldn’t feel any heat behind the shield and it’s back side was actually cool - meaning it was reflecting most of the heat. It was about 45 degrees. ... show more
