What a difference this made. My old pergola canopy would let alot of sun thru it would get really hot you would feel the heat coming thru. As soon as we put this up what difference it really blocked out alot Sun Ray's. The weight Rods were a bonus due to our original ones were rusty and old had to throw out. Excellent purchase. Very easy to put up and arrived very quickly. We used tie wraps through the grommets and the loops on the metal poles. We get the hot afternoon sun beating right through our wooden trellis and this shaded our sliding glass door and dropped the temperature by a good 15-20 degrees. Pretty remarkable and looks good too. This was a replacement for a canopy cover bought at a big box store. Wish I would've found this first. It was easy to install and it already came with grommets, which made it even simpler to secure to pergola. It provides enough shade during the hot summer months.
