Yes it is expensive, but it is worth the price. Had to retire my old Dyson after 12 years of use (same model). Attachments are not compatible with oder models like mine. So I just bought everything new again. Very powerful suction and innovative cleanup mechanisms.

The media could not be loaded. I've used dysons for years. I gave my old one to my daughter and thought I would upgrade. This one works well, gets up the dirt but the attachment is so noisy. Any other attachment is whisper quiet. My question is is it supposed to be this way?

I used the unit 3 or 4 times all well until I emptied it the first time and the unit did not work any more. By this time I was outside the return window. Supplier was no help at. Terrible customer service.

I bought the v10 from Costco and returned it...it was heavy and no enough suction....the V8 is much lighter and more powerful and much cheaper
