Does great on variety of surfaces. Light enough to carry around the house and up stairs. Attachments are useful and easy to swap. Love this more than m y other far more expensive vacuum.

I have had Dyson vacuum’s for years. When I moved and had my vacuum in storage it just wouldn’t hold a charge. Check on Amazon and fouls this one, which is (amazing). Amazon always has the right price

    • Good for carpets and long hair!
Really impressed! I have carpeting and I myself have long hair and cats who scatter litter throughout the house, and this does a great job with both. It's really easy to avoid the hair tangling around the brush like I had problems with with other vacuums.

    • It will change the way you clean
I bought this a few years ago and it made cleaning a joy. I just hated using the vacuum cleaner with a long cord. Cords just get in the way and you have to keep plugging and unplugging to reach every area of your home. Once you go cordless you won't want to go back to a regular vaccum cleaner. The ease of just pressing the trigger and walking around freely with your vacuum cleaner makes cleaning a breeze. The canister is easy to empty too. The only thing I don't like is the battery. It doesn't hold its charge for too long. The newer versions have more long lasting batteries. Too bad the next version came out a month after I bought this one. After a year the battery became useless. It would last about a minutes at the strongest speed, but 10 minutes at the lowest speed, making this vacuum cleaner a very expensive device to maintain since the dyson battery costs over a hundred dollars. I took a star off because of that. It is a pretty decent vaccum cleaner with good suction power so I give it 4 stars, but the newer versions have better suction power and longer lasting batteries. ... show more

Absolutely loving this version of the Dyson! Runs smooth. Super light weight. Love the different suction option. Battery life is sufficient for what I need. Clean up of accessories is super easy as well. That is probably my favorite thing!
