Decent quality. Had to clean ports of casting/machining debris. Installation was simple and truck started no problem after about 6 cranks. Has run 1,000 miles so far with zero issue. I do notice that diesel starts on first or second crank now instead of third or fourth. Old pump had leak at swaged steel cap to aluminum body. And best of all...no more raw diesel smell in the cab.     • Failed after driving less than 10 miles!
Complete crap! This pump failed almost immediately dumping diesel into my crankshaft over filling oil pan. I'm lucky it didn't cause more damage than having to replace the seal on the dipstick and dumping the oil and filter on top of the hassle of replacing this defective pump with this time a carter pump from Napa. This cheap pump all told so far has cost me another 300 bucks (2 pumps, oil and filter change, dipstick seal) ,and hopefully it hasn't caused any more damage to my truck.DO NOT BUY I would have returned but missed the return by date> ... show more

As a professional mechanic, I've installed many Delphi fuel pumps, and they are one of the best pumps on the market. For this pump in particular though, I wish they would have included the rear seals for the big banjo bolt. However, they are not that expensive from Ford. That is why I only gave 4 instead of 5 stars. ... show more

Had this professionally installed on my F-250 and it failed after just 300 miles. Awful - big waste of money on the labor here as well as the part.

OEM fuel pump for a price of the cheap ones at the auto parts stores. Works well, but a PITA to install! Be careful not to lose the metal plunger into the engine block.
