This is a refurbished item. Worked beautifully for five months. It would lose its charge quickly, but you get accustomed to working until it's dead and then charge it again. Suddenly, it started indicating an "Obstuction" warning signal light and would not function. I checked every knook and cranny and there are no obstuctions. However, I had failed to check the filter located just above the handle. Since it was refurbished I received no manual. Had I checked the manual online I would have found the answer. Very happy with this Dyson vacuum!

After just a few months it started to fall apart. It started with a rattle, then the trap door to empty the trash jammed, and a couple of months ago it completely died...battery dead. I didn't realize it was refurbished but after spending over an hour on the phone with dyson they tell me that the seller was not an authorized dealer based on my Amazon order. Read the fine print. And never ever buy a refurbished dyson. When I took it to a repair shop that DOES repair dyson they told me that's just a bad design and these break easily and it wasn't repairable. Lucky me.

I love my Dyson V10 total clean! Everything works properly and clasps correctly. Have used the vacuum on my interlocking floor planks and I've had no issues thus far. I was hesitant to buy after reading reviews of missing parts or tools not locking in properly. Everything on mine works as expected, actually better. The swivel gets under low areas easily and picks up tons of dirt that I would have not been able to reach with a regular broom. Powerful dust ridder and doesn't leave any dusty smell behind. Easy to dump out dirt receptacle, easy charge and clean as well. Very efficient.

Works great! refurbished came looking like new with all the attachments as described. I really like this vacuum n even enjoy vacuuming more now because of it the. My only 2 small critiques: 1. The capacity even on this v10 may feel small if u have alot of carpet In your home. It is soo powerful and fills up so quick I often don't use full power. Good thing is it is very quick n easy to empty. I wanted this because it's hand held n very portable. So much bigger than this might not be what I was looking for .. 2. How durable? Handle carefully it seems very well made but also with alot of plastic parts I worry could break especially the clip for attachments that If broken could leave unit practically useless.. I understand this was probably to save weight cuz the v10 already has a solid weight to it , but not too heavy.

When I purchased this product, I was giving it at least five years of good life. After all, one can buy light vacuums for half the price. I was using it about once every week. I was surprised by the extremely short life of the battery, about 15 minutes, but it was enough for me. Now, one year and a half after I purchased it no longer works. I deeply regret buying this product. It stopped working just like that. No one but me handles it.

No doubt for the vacuum ability, very clean and very strong. However, the battery out of very soon. Only 10-20 mins, it’s not suitable for the house more than 400 square feet. Don’t know if this is the battery issue or it’s made for this.

Definitely worth the money. Makes it easier to get the harder to reach spots and easy to take up and down the stairs. The battery also lasts for a decent amount of time and the suction power of a Dyson isn't lost in the handheld vacuum. It is also easy to clean so that's a definite plus.
