Thought I needed to replace my whole vacuum, but this did the trick. I was constantly cleaning the old one, cutting hair out of it, but it was too far gone, and wouldn’t spin occassionally. Worth it for me to toss the other one and replace, suction is suddenly better.

We have a Dyson V7 Animal that we bought almost 6 years ago. Nothing wrong with it except wear and tear. A new unit costs $399 or more. My wife was complaining that the unit was hard to move along the hardwood floors. This is because the head was worn out. There are less expensive options out there but I decided to pay for the legit replacement. The unit glides along now and picks up better. Wife is happy so I am happy. Glad that they make replacements for the head. Works as it needs to. It my battery does drain a little faster compared to the original head.
