Lightweight with great suction! Battery life is pretty good on the first and second setting. Super Suction 3000 makes the battery die rather quickly, but if you only need it for a short time it's perfect. 3 cats, 1 dog and 2 Italians are no match for this vacuum. Can even use it in shag rugs. Update: been less than a year and the torque drive cleaner head stopped working. Took it apart and cleaned it, and it still won't spin. Replacement piece is $115. This Dyson model for animals promises to do a great job and it really does. My daughter has two Golden Retrievers and lots of excess hair. This Dyson delivers what it promises. The only thing that isn’t perfect is that it requires you to press a trigger the entire time it’s being used.

    • Smartshop are Unethical
When I received this product I had COVID and was unable to use for 6 weeks while I recovered. Since then I have used it a total of 4 times. Each time it was extremely difficult to remove the canister from the stick. The 4th time I could not get it off. I had thought that with use it might get easier. I was wrong. I contacted the seller, SmartShop and requested an exchange as this Dyson was defective. I explained the problem. They requested I send a photo of the serial number which I did. Their solution to offer to sell me another canister for $29.99. I explained to them that the vacuum worked but I couldn't remove the canister so a new one was not the solution. Again, I told them I wanted and exchange. They responded that it was over 30 days therefor not under warranty and they would not exchange it that I must have broken it. It is not broken. All parts and just as I received them with no cracks or broken parts. It was defective from the beginning. They do not stand by the products they sell. I should not lose $500 because they sent me a defective machine. The vacuum itself works fine but the canister will never be able to be emptied because it won't come off. Don't buy from these people. Update: Jan 13, 2022 Thanks to Dyson I finally have a Dyson cordless vacuum that works. I contacted Dyson when the SmartShop people refused to exchange their defective product. Dyson first sent me 2 new sticks and a canister to see if that resolved the problem with the difficulty removing the stick from the motor. It did not. So Dyson finally sent me an entire new vacuum and postage through UPS to return the defective vacuum. It took 5 months from the day of purchase to finally get a vacuum works. Dyson was really great in helping to resolve the issue. They even sent me a vacuum that has an extra rotary foot for hardwood floors. The vacuum works great. Easy to maneuver, easy to change the various attachments and picks up everything. I highly recommend the Dyson Cyclone V10 vacuum. Just don't make purchases from Smartshop. ... show more
