This product was purchased after a surgery to make it easier to get in/out of bed. It was easy to assemble and then place under the mattress, The legs add extra stability and the strap that goes around the mattress was not needed. The stability bars that go between the mattress and box screen are longer than some competitors and make it sturdier. Even though I have recovered from the surgery I have kept this on the bed because it makes it so much easier to get in/out of bed. Good value, sturdy and easy to assemble.

When you get to that point that you need one of these, buy a good one. Strong, sturdy, otherwise you (or your significant other) may get stuck in bed. Not a good thing.... I have been really pleased with this assist rail. It was a straightforward assembly, even for my terribly arthritic hands. You might need a second person (maybe) to slightly lift the mattress while you slide the rail between that mattress and foundation. But once it's setup it works perfectly, nothing wobbles. Very pleased, it was worth the cost.

I purchased this item in 2021 before a major surgery. It was easy to assemble and worked great on my queen size bed. Very sturdy and made my life so much better. I am now using it again after another surgery and feel safe getting in and out of the bed.

After ordering another brand of side rail that didn't adjust to our bed height, we took a guess that this might work. Good news is that it has a huge range of adjustability for the part that goes between mattress and box spring . This rail is incredibly sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a foam bumper all the way around on the part that you grab on to so know unwanted bruises! Also provides a point of reference for the side of the bed so no more falling out. Relieved that we were able to find a solution second time out, as none of the reviews for this kind of rail (except this one) seem to indicate the range of heights of the box spring in order for it to work. Thanks for a great prouduct. (FYI, our box spring is 13" and the kit goes as low as 12")

This rail is about twice the price of other rails that look pretty good, but on close inspection, the cheaper ones DON'T have the stabilization features that this one has. This is deeper, fitting far under my full-size mattress. The legs and rubber feet give great stabilization. What I didn't realize is that this includes a sturdy strap with which to secure the mattress part to the OTHER side of the bed frame. It's so stable and secure.
