    • Great vacuum, but a few things to be aware of
This is our second one of this model, and it's a great vacuum. However, this one was refurbished and arrived with the bin gasket installed backwards, which was causing alignment and suction issues. The other thing to be aware of is the limited warranty with the refurbished product. Dyson has excellent customer service when their products are under warranty and will send you replacement parts with very minimal hassle, but you're missing out on the full benefits with the limited warranty. Replacement parts are still reasonably inexpensive compared to the new vacuum, so I think this is still a good value. We went through the warranty process to get a replacement bin before realizing that our issue was that the vacuum had arrived incorrectly assembled. It was a little bit trickier to get this warrantied because the automated system didn't recognize the serial number and I had to go through a customer service agent. ... show more

    • Faulty product and didn't support noted warranty
I received this product with documentation that it was under warranty for 6 months as a renewed item. It stopped working prior to that timeframe so I contacted the manufacturer Dyson and they confirmed with several people that they couldn't support the warranty because the seller was not from the authorized Dyson store. I reached out to the seller who said it was past the return period and they couldn't do anything for me even though it needed to be replaced. ... show more
