Works great
I wish the cord were longer. I had to use waterproof shrink tubing to add an extra 5 ft of wire. Other than that the light works great easy to install. You don't need the remote.

I had seen on other reviews about the remote issues. I tried it and the remote doesn't work. Use the power switch to scroll through the colors and features.
