This stereo would nave been 5 stars if the video would display for backup cam. The led lights would light up, so I knew it was getting power. Upgrading from a Blaupunkt that needed a wired connection for phone screen mirroring, so after the video from the camera would not show on screen I swapped the Blaupunkt head unit back in and the camera worked fine with it so this head unit is bad. Loved the fact it had a USB port on the back (can run hidden usb cable to phone charger). The Steering wheel remote was very poor quality and the wrong type really. After opening the battery cover to install battery it did not want to stay on and its an IR remote (line of sight) so half the time it did not work. Should have been RF. IR it don't always require a direct line of site to work as it can reflect off some surfaces but it was very hit an miss especially if you turned the wheel at all. Returning for one the works....I hope!! Picture included of the camera working with the old head unit i was replacing.

The backup camera doesn’t work while using CarPlay so if you plan on using CarPlay the whole time I wouldn’t bother setting up the camera. It sometimes glitches and gets stuck but it’ll eventually start back working. Besides that it was a good purchase for the price.

The car stereo was a tight fit in my 2014 Nissan Versa, but it looks like it came that way from the factory. There was a little modification with the wires and the frame, but it turned out just fine. After completing the set up and restarting the car, the auto connect with the Android phone works great! The backup camera is better than the wife's Pathfinder stock camera. When in reverse, the volume on the radio turns down, which is preferred. The maps and Pandora work great next to each other, too. My wife took some pictures and colored out my reflection. A picture was taken with the wireless home screen. When my phone is plugged in, as in the other pictures, the home screen for my phone shows up.

IT's an OK radio for the price. HOWEVER it does have some major flaws. Probably yhe biggest is you can't use the usb port or bluetooth for music while using the maps. Even if the radio is off, if the bluetooth on your phone is turned on when you get a phone call the radio will turn on and connect to it. It is also hard to get the bluetooth to disconnect so you can continue the call on your phone. I'm going to replace it with something else for this reason

First I didn't connect the radio right away because I didn't have the harness for my 2001 Ford Sport Trac, I ordered a harness from Amazon but the radio didn't fit perfectly so I had to cut the plastic frame of the truck to make it fit. The Stereo looks great, sound it's great, touch display and this device has lots of features that almost nobody will be able to use them all, for me all I needed is to connect a cable to my phone and the other end called 3.5 to the stereo so I can play a book while driving, but there is a scratching noise before start playing, so I connected wireless but there is one point on the road the radio gets disconnected and I can not make a stop to fix it and I drive the rest of my way in silence, now I get to my destination and I disconnect bluetooth Carplay everything but as soon as I get inside the car the phone connects by itself and start playing but a few minutes later it gets disconnected, also I can no dictate a message while connected to the bluetooth and there is not way to disconnect it I was hesitating about this review because time matters, I know this is NOT the fault of the vendor but if an item brings you trouble you should stop selling
