I'm very happy with this softener. I've had a Fleck system before. This was easy to install. The tank was taller than my last unit so I used a flex hose. It was preconfigured and only a minimal amount of assembly and programming was necessary.

I've bought several Flek products from another supplier so I knew what I was getting. The price here was about the same but shipping was a lot less. So I gave them a try. Couldn't be happier. quick shipping, the product works as advertised and the instructions were clear. If you aren't comfortable with plumbing... you might want to hire a plumber. This is top of the line equipment. I prefer Flek over other brands because of the ease of servicing and reliability. This comes with a 1' yoke so you'll need reducers to plumb into a 3/4" system or buy a 3/4" yoke. ... show more

Saw lots of great reviews, so I went for it. The Fleck 5600 sxt system installed easily and was pretty easy to program. You have to get your own flex lines and 1/2" drain tubing, but otherwise everything was included. I've had it for a month and it's working great so far. It was half the price of paying a company to install the water loop and provide the softener. I hired a plumber to run the loop and I did the rest of the installation (with this system I bought on Amazon). Loving the soft water! ... show more

I researched a lot of sites and watched many videos. This is all it's reviewed to be. Easy install and programming. I accidentally got into another menu so I called support. Knowledgeable, friendly support based in the USA! I also called later as I wasn't getting the softness below 5 gpg. Support again walked me through diagnosing the issue. I had the bypass knob in the wrong direction. I'm picky about products and don't give great reviews because it was timely. I highly recommend this softener from this seller. ... show more

    • Great system and easy to install!
I purchased this unit to replace a Sears Water Softener. This unit is so much easier to program and better built than the previous Sears unit. Since the height of this unit was different than the Sears unit I used flex pipe to make the plumbing connection. Great unit that I highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant to install this myself as I did not have any experience with water softeners. However, with Shark Bite fittings for the copper supply and return lines, installation, with the help of Youtube videos, was a snap. Also, Youtube helped with programming - also a snap. I ran it through a regeneration cycle and voila, up and running without any noticeable delay in getting soft water. I did have to add an electrical receptacle, but the breaker box was at the location of the softener so I just added an additional breaker dedicated to the softener and ran the wiring to a new, waterproof box. Also, next to the softener is a crawlspace which has a clean out in it. I drilled a hole in the cap and ran the drain line into it. Simple. ... show more

Installation was straight forward. After installing the unit, my water quality is still terrible. The metering bought indicated my water is at 180ppm. I tested water from a bottle of dasanineater and it tested at 25 ppm
