I use this one in my office, and I love that these heaters don't dry out the air like many other forced air heaters. I love the flames for ambiance, and it comfortably took me through the cold months and saved me money by not heating the whole house. Elephant in the room: Obviously you can tell it's not real fire if you're paying attention. It's a projection on the fake logs and the back of the unit. It's not gonna fool you into thinking it's real fire when you already know it isn't. But out of the corner of your eye if you didn't know it was an electric fireplace, it would definitely make you look twice. Like "You have a fireplace? But this is an apartment! Ohhh it's electric, ok." That kind of reaction. It does look pretty good for a projection. The heater puts out a nice pleasant amount of heat. Really warms your toes (literally) when you're standing right next to it, but won't set you on fire. The cat likes to sleep in front of it, to give you an idea. It's not a heavy-duty heater, but will take the edge off a chilly room while adding all the ambiance of a fire with none of the fire code violations. I like to match this up with a Bluetooth speaker and a sleep sound app I have, which can play a crackling fire sound. Light a balsam fir incense stick at the same time, and it really sells the wood stove illusion. The light, the heat, the smell, the sound, even knowing it's fake when you've got that whole superfecta of sensory misdirection going on it's pretty convincing. The heat is analog on a dial, so it's not quite clear what temp you're setting it to, you just sort of have to guess and adjust. And it also means the remote can't control the heat, apart from just "on/off". So that part could've been done better. Updated to add thermal image. It throws heat at the floor which gives it a bit of range (about 2m) before it starts to rise. How warm it is depends on how warm it already is. In the image the room temp is 22c but 1m in front of the heater it's 33c. ... show more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It’s so aesthetically pleasing. IT’S SO LIGHT. It’s VERY QUIET!!!! Heat levels GREAT. The central heat in my bedroom does not work well in the winter and this space heater heats up my entire bedroom!! We have bought more than one cuz we love it so much. Only con: You can’t really tell what you’ve clicked on the remote. Like which heat setting you’re on. You can only know that by looking at the digital panel on the heater itself. WOW I am so impressed?.. it is super quiet. It’s pumping out the heat. I have a little 700 square-foot mobile home from the 70s and within 45 minutes. My whole house is warm and I have to turn it off.😂😂😂😂. I just bought a second one so when it really starts getting cold, I can rotate them every eight hours Regarding my electrical bill… it’s $75 cheaper than when I had my furnace which I can’t afford to replace because they are out of control as far as price.. I'm currently living in a lower level that has baseboard but I don't use it. Was going to get a regular heater but I'm all about ambiance and this is perfect for my space and totally worth the extra money. I always turn it off at night because I like to be cooler when I sleep and it heats up the space great before I turn it off. The two issues I have are that sometimes it makes a buzzing noise that is mildly annoying but nothing too crazy. Mainly it's that it could've been designed so that the remote could turn up and down the heat. Instead of a knob on the unit, could be buttons so the remote is compatible. Has a dimmer on the remote but a temp control would be way more useful. That being said, I do love it and think it was a good choice for the money. And it really adds the centerpiece to my living space. I would buy it again for sure. ... show more

False advertisement! This heater shows the bottom not touching the floor but when I placed it on the floor it’s resting right on the floor and not elevated as shown, I had a heater from this brand and it lasted for years. I have pictures showing the one I had before and this new one. Huge disappointment and now I’m left inconvenienced in returning this heater and now no heat. I have photos of the old one I had and the new one I’m returning. The original one I had was made great and sturdy. They went cheap on the newest model. Absolutely horrible. ... show more
