  • Not functioning
The media could not be loaded. Stove arrived with no damage to packaging. Blower fan was jammed. Had to manually unjam it. Exhaust/vacuum inducer fan is not working. Being that the exhaust fan is bound up, it's not tripping the vacuum safety switch which should prevent the auger from feeding. It still feeds. Ignitor still gets hot but stove is not lighting/functioning because of defective components. I'd give zero stars if I could. I'll adjust my review accordingly if the seller gets back to me and makes it right. ... show more

  • Cleaning out ashes is a pain
I like the stove and it heats my entire house. The only thing I dislike is to clean the ashes you have to pull out a U shaped pan with a pair of pliers and then use a vacuum to get all of the ashes that missed. A slide out ash tray would have been amazing for an appliance that produces ash.

  • great little stove
this is the perfect size stove if you do not want a small pellet stove or a large one.It works excellently, and has a good hopper capacity. It can be run manually with five optional heat levels,or it can be run by a temperature setting,or weekly programmes. It also comes with a remote control! The owners manual is a large book, and easy to understand...reliability seems good.Cleaning the stove is very important, but easy to do.It puts out amazing heat With the high cost of heating utilities this is a great option, and It also qualifies for the tax credit ... show more

  • Don't buy this stove
The stove has a mother board that needs to be programed for different stages. It took me a while to figure it out, once I got it the stove fired up. Being a rather warmer day, I ran it for about one hour and shut it down. Went back to turn it on a couple of days later and it wouldn't start due to igniter failure. I attempted to start it several times during the following several days. But it still wouldn't start. I could feel heat coming from the igniter but not enough to start fire to the pellets. I called the business where the stove came from a spoke to a fella named Gorden, he instructed me to go on there web site and sign up, get a ticket, to have somebody call me, well they never did call me. So eventually I went on a chat line where techs were serving other customers at same time. The tech was having me perform all these difference test(s) trying find the problem through the process of elimination. An old technique used by a mechanic when he, she, it doesn't know what the real problem is. Adding to my frustration, I decide to try and return the stove. They don't include the return shipping (in there cost) plus they add a restocking fee @ $250. In my case, the total cost to return the stove, nearly added up to half of what I paid for the stove. SOUND like a RACKET...indeed. Unless you wanna be aggravated and learn how to work on stoves, I would stay away from Comfortbilt Stoves. They offer zero comfort. ... show more

  • HP41 Alpine discrepancy
The specifications on Amazon describe The unit is being able to heat up to 2200 ft.² However, in the manual it stays at the unit heats up to only 1800 ft.². Therefore I’m confused and unhappy . I will call the manufacturer on Monday to gain further clarification and/or a potential refund if the product has been misrepresented. And I will amend the review as to inform you all of the outcome , Whether it is positive or negative ... show more

  • Horrible noises from fan and auger!
We did get a code finally so we could adjust fan. Then the auger started making a horrible squealing noise all in the first few days! We put it in diagnostics mode and lubricated with a non flammable product. Did not help! Squeal was coming from upper portion of auger that could not be accessed!!! Do not purchase this stove!!! ... show more

  • Tech help blower noise
After some holiday hiccups causing the shipment to get lost Comfortbilt sent another stove out and we received it in 7 days!!! The stove is located in our family room with a TV. I contacted Tech support because the stove blower was loud and competing with the TV. Tyler from Tech support was diligent in getting back to me. He walked me through the steps to lower the voltage on levels 1,2&3 which absolutly resolved the noise level of the blower. The stove works great. I think this is the best value out there for a pellet stove. We are totally happy with the purchase. ... show more
