So far so good with this one. Got about a bag of pellets through it and heat is good, love the app control. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the condition. Got a little scuffed on delivery, paint rubbed off a little in some areas from the box it was in, but that wasn't the worst of it. They don't heat these things up from the factory, you have to run it on high for 30 min to cure the paint yourself. Well after smoking us out of the house, I'm sure the paint is cured, but it bubbled up is some small spots above the door. After the horror of every smoke alarm going off in the house, it no longer smoked and seams to be in good working order. Hoping to find out what kind of paint was used so I can touch it up. ... show more

I'll start with the positives. In ECO2 mode, I set the temp and it holds the temp in the room....depending on the size of the room in my case the entire basement 980sq ft. If it goes down to 18 degrees outside it holds the temp I set on the control. I am impressed with pellet consumption and the heat I get out of it. The negatives: I found this first here on Amazon, I bought from Ace Hardware locally because I got it much cheaper and if I had a problem with it I could take it back... within the first hour I got an error code and it shut down on its own. I called the number and the techs were very helpful and sent a main controller, and a combustion blower which I replaced myself....back up and running for 2 days then shut down with the same error code. Called again got a new vacuum switch and since then it's been 100%. The lid when you open it on top shuts down the auger everytime you open to add pellets.....kinda silly there is no, absolutely no good engineering reason to put a microswitch on the pellet lid. It's not a washing machine! Also there is no clean out drawer, tray, nothing of any sort to get the ash out. The cavities on each side collect as with the burn cup... and you'll have to shut down, cool down completely to clean it out with your newly purchased Chinese ash vacuum! Yep! You better have a hot ash vacuum to clean it out! You won't be dumping the ash pan out nor sweeping anything...it's purely a vacuum out job to clean it out thoroughly. And it doesn't say that anywhere, except here in this post. You're welcome! I honestly only have this for heat this winter so... I paid the purchase price and got it to work. Because I had to...and once I got through the issues I'm mildly annoyed at the lid and ash clean out but still happy I got heat. ... show more

Doesn't heat like they claim trying too heat a 2100 square foot home in nc and it can't keep up . Definitely disappointed.

First off do your first burn outside. I use this in the Garage. Once I have it dialed in it runs great, and all I have to do is fill the hopper. I have mine set to run 2 hours at night, 3 hours in the morning, and 3 hours in the afternoon on setting P3, Eco 1, automatic. The manual sucks , go online to the website and go to questions and open up all the answers, there is another menu with a ton of settings that aren't in the manual. You need to be in Eco 1 and automatic if you want this stove to shut off and turn on onto its own. I am happy with the stove, clean it every 24 hours for heat efficiency. This is my 3rd pellet stove and it heats better and is more fuel efficient than the other two. ... show more

It took a long time to figure out the eco modes. eco 1 is suppose to turns unit off and back on at desired temp. doesnt alway turn back on though. eco2 keeps unit on but adjusts heat output. your house will get to 90 degrees if its above freezing outside. fire box gets hard clumps on bottom and has to been cleaned out ever couple days when kept on 4 heat. might be normal with cheap TS pellets though. unit would be very hard to control without app. i wish the screen was on top or could swap to other side. 140lbs really means 2.25 bags of pellets but i guess that is common with all pellet stoves. I am on 2nd season. No issues. ... show more
