So to start off, I'm 5' 3.5", about 280 pounds. Just to give you context. The only things I've noticed that are concerning about the chair are: 1. The way it creaks when I sit down. Now, this could just be my anxiety acting up and it's perfectly normal, just the chair settling to my weight. 2. The sides of the seat squish my thighs in, but also they're about 24 inches across when I sit, and it's not really uncomfortable or anything. I just have to adjust now and then so I don't get weird marks. 3. I'm not sure if this is on my part or not. I'd like to be able to tilt the seat (not just the back, the whole seat) back a bit so it's angled a little more up instead of flat. Even though I push the handle in, it doesn't seem to affect it. That might not be something it's capable of though, and it's not a huge deal. 4. Around the holes in the back part of the seat, there's a small part where the material doesn't actually reach the plastic covering. There's still plastic protecting the actual cushion though. I included a couple of photos to show where it is. Not a big deal, I could probably cover it with some marker or something. 5. It said the arm rests were adjustable, but as far as I can tell, they're not. Not a huge deal either, just a little tidbit I noticed. I live in a college dorm, and I'm pretty low on space. It's cramped in here, but the chair actually fits pretty well. I can turn sideways to recline it, and there's even enough room to spin somewhat. I also can lean it back and put some extra blankets on it when I go to bed, so they're in easy reach if I need them but not in the way. It's super comfortable to sit in, even for hours at a time. My dorm-issued chair was so bad, I'd have to take breaks to lay down on the bed and stretch out, even with a heavy cushion on it. This one is worlds better, supporting my back and not being painful to sit in for long periods. I'm still figuring out how best to position the back cushion though. I have a feeling it'll be wonderful for cramps. Overall, I think this is a great chair. It's so much more comfortable than anywhere else I have to sit, even when I visit home. It adjusts well, it rocks for when the leg bouncing kicks in, and it's really comfortable to sit in. Even my dog loves it. It's super easy to assemble, with everything you need provided for you. The video showed a slightly different chair than we had, mostly in how the arms attached, but cross referencing that with the printed instructions, I figured it out pretty quickly.     • Has Its Pros But Has Its Cons....

The Dowinx Gaming Chair is a stunning chair, clean and sleek, looking perfect for anyone's gaming setup. However, although there are many positives about the chair, I have encountered some issues. Pros -Very comfortable chair, I found myself able to sit in this chair for very long gaming sessions with no pressure points or stress on my body. -Obviously a very nice chair. Inspires curiosity to those who catch a glimpse and looks better than some 400$ and up gaming chairs. -Comfortable to rest in. Laying back in this chair is not an issue at all even if you are a large person like me. -Sturdy. I am a 340 pound man and this chair has not gave in on me or broke somewhere and I have laid back at the flattest angle you can get. If you are a large person and want to know if this chair is strong enough for you do not worry. -The massage lumbar support works incredibly well. The massaging lumbar support is a dream when you have just had a long day of work and would like to sit back and watch some videos on Youtube or a movie. Works extremely well. -Smooth Riding. The wheels are high quality although you may have to stand up if you are on carpet. -Head Rest is very comfortable. -Clear instructions -Well Packaged -Amazing Customer Service- I honestly believe that you will not find better customer service for a gaming chair than the Dowinx Company. They are extremely well and will help you with any issue you experience with this chair. If there are any factors you should think about when purchasing a chair, one of the most important is the customer service. Cons - Armrests are non-adjustable. The only time the armrests will ever adjust is when you lean back, but they are set at a good position for my height which is about 5'11'. -Armrests are flimsy. This is the largest flaw in this chair and the most noticeable while sitting in it. The armrests come loose very often and you will have to screw them back in about every 4-5 days of use. - Squeaky after a few days. If you like to rock back and forth in your chair than this may not be the chair for you, in my experience after 2 weeks the chair began to make a large squeaking noise which was very annoying. - Bulges on side of the seat sometimes dig in to your legs. If you are a large person, the bulges on the sides of the seat will pressure you underneath your legs. Although not as pronounced, it is noticeable. Overall I would give this chair a 3.5 out of 5 stars. It is a very nice and comfortable gaming chair that suits me very well but it has its flaws. - Daniel ... show more
