The light switch for these is on the floor so you don’t have to be blinded every time you turn it off. Super cute and simple. The light is very bright and i only have one in my bedroom and it lights it up completely.

What a great little lamp. Very easy to put together and it looks great for the price. If you’re looking for a fancy light it’s not for you. But if you’re looking for a nice stand up lamp for a good price it’s for you. I like it so much I’m gonna buy another one for the other side of my living room.

The light bulb is your choice. Buy this, clean, sturdy, easy follow instructions, stable, pole light. You will wish you had brought several. It may tilt, just push in the opposite direction you place you foot on the base. All pole lamps do this. Just a bit, don't use too much force. You will be most happy with every part that comes enclosed. I am using 60 watt, you could go hotter is needed. Actual rating = 4.5 Easy to put together, the base is heavy enough to keep it from tipping over, the foot pedal would be convenient if I wasn’t using this with a timer, fits the IKEA shade I intended for it.
