Since I have had no prior experience with gaming chairs and that the office chair that I had for decades was cheap and as basic as you could get, any gaming chair would be a major step up for me. I was willing to spend more for a quality chair at a great value than getting another cheap chair. I decided to get this chair since it comes from a name that I trust and that it looks great. When it arrived, I noticed how heavy it was. It recommends that you have 2 people to assemble it. When I opened up the box, everything was well packaged and organized and there is a poster that has very straightforward instructions. Also, everything you need to put this chair together is in the box. Although it was heavy, the assembly was easy enough that I was able to put it together myself. The chair is solid and sturdy. When you sit in it, the cushioning is not going to be plush, yet offers a great amount of support to offer comfort for long hours of work or gaming. The wheels on this chair is not what I expected. They have more resistance than I would have expected when moving the chair. It requires more effort to move it around. As much as I wish it was easier to maneuver around, I guess it's good to know it does a better job staying in place. Overall, I love this chair! I'm sure it might not be for everyone, but it is perfect for me. If you are looking for a great gaming chair at a great value, I highly recommend this! ... show more

When I purchased this chair I had a problem with the shipping order. The package said it was delivered when it wasn't, I consulted Amazon and the customer service was great! The agent sent another package immediately and gave me a partial refund for my time. Regarding the chair, this is an extremely high quality gaming chair, well worth the money if you want to spend some on it. Before I purchased this, I used a generic gaming chair, one of the cheaper ones that all look the same in the $110-$130 range. It lasted me for about 2 years and one of the internal brackets/hinges broke off in the back, so when I leaned back on the chair it was unstable and leaning towards one side, this was impossible to repair so I needed to purchase another one. This chair is extremely comfortable, made with high quality synthetic material. This chair is also extremely heavy, strongly built, and pretty large, as a 5'10" 180 lb. male the previous chair I had was somewhat small for my size, while this chair is large and gives me plenty of room, any taller person will benefit from this chair as it there is a lot more of an actual seat if you have long legs. The armpads are nice and slightly wider/more durable than a standard gaming chair. Overall this is a very comfy gaming chair, unlike generic chairs which are much more stiff and uncomfortable given the design compared to standard computer chairs. One thing I would forsure get is a chair cover, a generic gaming chair cover in the $10-$20 will cover this chair. The reason why is because these chairs in general tend to retain odors and if you have a cover you can just wash it, and if you eat at your computer like I do it's useful if you accidently stain it. ... show more

pros +great seat padding +premuim quality +very sturdy +I don't feel like I'm going to fall reclining back +zero back ache after 4 hour session cons -padding is stiff -could use a head pillow -non-breathable material Overall the chair itself is great however for a more premium price I would expect a head pillow. personally, I would like my head to be supported spending this amount of money on a chair out of the box. despite that one flaw, I will be shelling out for the RGB pillow. could be more due to my poor posture as I've only used this chair for around 8 hours and have terrible posture so might just be something I need to adapt to. everyone else is very correct in the statement that it is a very stiff chair and not a plushy office chair. however, it's stiff in a good way that is surprisingly comfy to me as I've demoed chairs in a similar style that were just rock hard. so that's a major plus and in fact might not be for all. As I'm 6ft 240lb I had a fear that I might need the xl as I have fairly thick thighs. so if you're a part of the Thick Thigh club do not fear it will cradle your weapons of mass destruction just fine. another tidbit is I always used to hate on Razer as they are the apple of pcmr and this chair alone has changed my view on them as a company so walk into this chair with an open mind. ... show more

I believe I purchased this product for around $210.00 on a certain sale. I am reviewing this as a 5'7 167 lb male. Pros: - Once assembled, the chair is quite sturdy. - The bottom of the chair is quite comfortable. - The chair in general is quite nicely designed, and once assembled, looks identical to the pictures. - The assembly guide is quite simple and detailed. Additionally, you can find an easy assembly video. - The chair is heavy which is a good sign for durability. Cons: - If you are larger in size, or have large legs, this may not be the chair for you. The sides of the chair are lifted and may cut into your thighs if your legs are large enough. I have fairly large thighs, and I seem to fit just about right. If my thighs were slightly larger, I would be having the issue I mentioned before. (There is an XL version for this chair that may be more suitable for larger individuals). - The back of the chair is not super comfortable on its own. I purchased a Razer brand lumbar cushion and it helped quite a bit and made the back quite comfortable. - The regular price point of the chair is quite high (nearly 400$ USD). You could get a much nicer chair for a similar price, or for an extra 100-200$ USD. Overall: It's a quite nice-looking chair, but you need a lumbar cushion to make it generally comfortable. The price point to comfortability in my scenario was quite valuable, but I would certainly not pay $400 for this chair given other options for similar price points. ... show more
