It just got delivered 30 minutes ago 4/7/23. Everything looks good no dents cracks or other visual damage. I researched this fridge on YouTube. They say you should let the unit stand level at least 12 hours before use to allow compressor fluids to settle. This is because in shipping it may have been stored on its side so I’m letting it sit until tomorrow. The instructions doesn’t say to do this, but it makes sense to me. So, I will come back and update this review when I put it to use. I’ve heard good things about Alpicool so I am a little disappointed that the logo is just a peel and stick on tape which has a bubble in it so it’s not adhered very well. However the label doesn’t make it run. Just hoping I haven’t Ben given a cheap knock off. If it works I’ll be happy. UPDATE: it’s the next day so I believe it’s sat long enough. It started right up with my jackery for power. In 10 minutes it went from 64 degrees down to 54 and dropping as I type. It’s on Max at the moment drawing 44w. Switched to eco mode now drawing 29w. It fluctuates just a bit has compressor kicks on and off. Success. I’m happy with it. ANOTHER UPDATE: I’ve had this for one work week. It’s working great. I probably would have done better with the 9liter fridge because it takes up some space in my king cab, but I do plan to use it for camping so it’s ok. Got a fridge thermometer and found that it was actually 30 degrees inside so I set the unit to 41degrees. My concern now is for when the Texas heat ramps up. It’s refreshing to have cold V8, water and fruit cups. It’s working perfectly, as for power supply, that’s a work in progress. My 500 jackery doesn’t last all day. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've been driving an 18-wheeler for 30 years and I've used every type of cooler refrigerator you could possibly imagine! In 2020 through 2022 I bought three GE mini refrigerators which only worked for about 6 to 8 months each! Each of them were nearly $400! So I took a chance on buying this product I bought one about 2 months ago as a freezer and I loved it, so I bought another one to act as a refrigerator! I paid approximately $360 for both about $180 a piece! I absolutely love it! this is an awesome product! It is quiet and makes relatively little noise as the video will show! Most truck drivers get home weekly or every two weeks! If I stay out for 2 weeks the size of both of these fits the perfect amount of food I need for that time.! I will say that the amount of money I will save by eating out of my truck as opposed to restaurants and fast food joints will pay for these products over time! I will say that the refrigerator does not freeze my food! typically that GE refrigerator would on occasion freeze my lettuce etc at times but this cooler does not! The freezer is amazing you can go as low as -4! They are both 21 quart sizes and that is just perfect for my use! The video will show you how quiet these coolers are and they sit right next to my bunk and I don't hear them one bit! I do have plug in slots but you also get a cord you can plug into a cigarette lighter! I normally don't do videos but this was worth doing it! if you're a truck driver? We used it in the car as well as the hotel (the room had a fridge but no freezer) and it worked great. Not very heavy when empty and very quiet as well. It froze quickly and kept everything solid. Overall it was great for what we needed.

I got the 21Q model, and it holds 15 16.9oz Pepsi bottles, which is exactly what I purchased it for. I could probably fit a couple extra small things in with those bottles, as there’s plenty of room to breathe and the bottles are not jammed together. The fridge cools down very quickly. It went from 70 degrees (room temp) to 36 degrees in about an hour. I am finding the 38 degrees is the sweet spot for keeping soda slightly colder than my normal at-home fridge. I have it plugged into a 12v always-on plug in my SUV trunk, and so far it has not seemed to drain my car battery at all. The longest I have kept it on with the car turned off is about 12 hours, and when I started the car, the battery gauge still read 13.4, which is what is read when I shut off the car. That’s amazing. I can’t find any negatives about this. I suppose the bottom is not grippy, so it does slide around my suv trunk if not secured, but I fixed it by adding furniture gripper rubber on the bottom.
