  • Best posture I've ever had!
Color: Black
I bought this to replace an old desk chair that I've had for years, and my back feels SO much better! This is the first computer chair I've had that feels actually comfortable, including all the chairs I've used at the office. I've never had good posture sitting at a computer, and I always catch myself slouching or leaning too far forward, but with this chair it's effortless. I'm surprised by how great this chair is for such a reasonable price! With that being said, because it's in a lower price tier, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles you might expect. You can't adjust the seat depth, the armrests, the back height, etc....really you only get to raise/lower the seat and switch between rocking (it doesn't rock very far) and non-rocking. It would be nice to be able to adjust the height of the back a little bit, but I'm okay with not having that option. The material is faux-leather and it has a bit of a chemical smell right out of the box, but it fades quickly. It looks great and appears to be put together pretty well--not perfect, but well enough that you won't notice if you aren't paying attention. Assembly was very simple, with easy-to-read instructions and no additional tools required. It would be a little easier to assemble with two people, but I managed just fine on my own. ... show more

  • Great Chair for the Money
Color: Black
I have a bad back due to an injury that I suffered during my time in the military and have had many surgeries to correct it. Due to working full-time from home and doing school full-time, I needed a chair that could handle the 8+ hours of use plus give my back adequate support. My struggle to find a good chair with great back support that did not cost a fortune was a long and tiring one but after exhausting all my local stores I turned to Amazon. I found this chair and read a handful of reviews, then decided to give it a shot sight unseen and untested. For $60, it is a five-star chair. For any more than that, it is a three. I am rating it according to how it functions, not its price, as prices tend to fluctuate. The Good: -Packaging: The hardware was very well organized in its own cardboard and plastic sealed container. It also included an inventory list, instructions, and even a link to an assembly video which was a welcomed change. -Assembly: It was very straight forward with the instructions provided. Getting the back aligned with the seat and secured could cause some issues but a second set of hands makes it very easy. -Back Support: The back support on this chair is amazing and it rivals chairs that are significantly more expensive. -Quality: I have had this chair for almost two years at the time of this review and have not had any issues so far. All functions of the chair are still working with no peeling of the leather. The Bad: -The Seat: It is very hard and just plain uncomfortable. Would highly recommend using a pillow or cushion to help lessen the pain you will get from long sitting times. -The Arm Rests: They are not at all adjustable which was known upon purchase but depending on your desk and height it can be a huge issue. They are also just as hard as the seat which can cause pain in your arms due to the lack of padding. They can be removed with no impact on the functionality of the chair which is the only plus. After two years of constant use, I would recommend this chair at the $60 price tag. Any more than that, you should pass. For $60, you are not going to find anything that is better, and just might end up with something worse. It is not perfect, but it is a decent chair at a good price, and I will continue to use it until something happens that makes it unusable. ... show more

  • A great budget chair—but a tad short. A great budget chair—but a tad short.
Color: Black
Let me start off by explaining that I don’t come from luxury office chairs. Before this, I had been using a wooden bar chair, a yoga ball, and finally, a masseuse stool. My standards for comfort may be pretty low compared to anyone coming from more comfortable chairs. That being said, this is a very comfortable chair. I had initially bought a stool, fearing for the lack of space in my room, but after sitting in the stool for even 4 hours, my hips, butt, and lower back would start hurting. So I bought this. I have had this since early February 2022 (going on 5 months at time of writing) and it’s still holding up fine. No significant wear in the material, no issues with the base. Nothing. Even the arm rests are fine. It does its job. I use my computer for 8-15 hours a day (both work and hobbies) so this chair gets a lot of use. So far it has held up, but I will update with the date, if or when it does start to fail. I do have some minor issues though. Sitting in it, it feels like the chair is tilted forward, like I’m about to slide off, even though I’m securely in it. In the end it may be better for my legs, because there’s no pressure point to cut off circulation behind my knees, but it’s something that takes time to adjust to, especially if you’re used to more of a bucket-type seat. The second issue I have is that the cylinder/lift of the chair is WAY too short. I have a standard computer desk, and with the chair at maximum height, the desk was at my sternum, and I was forced to type with my arms far too high. It caused significant joint pain in my shoulders, elbows, wrists, and knuckles. I didn't hate the chair, and I didn’t feel like sending it back, so I decided to just replace the part that was bothering me. The third issue is that after a few months, the cylinder wouldn’t hold its height. I had to raise it every time I wanted to sit, and with my incessant rocking and twisting (ADHD, gotta fidget,) it would drop while sitting in it, and I’d have to lift it back up every few hours. So this was another deciding factor for my choice to replace the riser. In the photo, the cylinder on the right is the one that comes with the chair. That is fully-extended. The one on the left is one that I bought (also off of Amazon) which arrived today, and is in its fully-compressed state. The extra height has made a WORLD of difference. In conclusion: If you want a sub-$100 chair, this is a great choice. You may need to put a chair cushion on it if you prefer a soft seat, and if you need more height, buy a cylinder with it, so you don’t have to go through the replacement process which is a pain. (The one I bought is 11.4”-16.9”. I’m 5’6” and have a 30.3” tall desk, if that helps.) In the end, I have spent $100 on this chair (if we include the cylinder) which isn’t too bad. There are definitely cheaper cylinders out there than the one I got, which can cut down the cost, but since I’d already installed the stock one, I needed tools to remove it. Sure, I could have just taken a hammer to it, but this way was much easier. Chair was $70, cylinder kit was $30. Not awful. But for that price, you may be better off going into your nearest office supply store and trying out those chairs in person. For me, this was the easier option, and considering you’re looking at chairs on Amazon, I’m going to assume this is the easier option for you, too. You get what you pay for, and in this case, it seems to be a good product. ... show more

  • I Would Buy This Again
Color: Black
I got the solid black chair. I got this chair for my new desk that sits about 30" off of the ground. For this desk, this chair is perfect. I'm only about 5'4", and the back goes all the way up to about mid-head height for me. The chair sits quite high off of the ground naturally, which is a huge plus for me. I had used it for the past few days to get a feel for it while gaming, working, writing, and I have found that it's quite comfortable and sturdy. The chair is also pretty aesthetically pleasing, too. It's in the racer back style, but not over-the-top gaming chair racer back. It's not very large, so it works in more compact spaces, and its was pretty easy to put together. I mean, really easy. I thought mine came without instructions, so I looked for similar instructions online. When I found the instructions that DID indeed come with my chair, I had put it together just as was printed. One thing I noticed is that since I only weight just over 100lbs, I had to get a friend of mine to break in the reclining mechanism after I put it together so it would actually move for me. This was even after "loosening" the tool it to it's maximum. Overall, it's nice, sleek, and perfect size for a short and small gamer. I hope this chair is still available for whenever mine wears out. ... show more

  • Nice Chair
Color: Black
I kept running into overpriced chairs and none would have the right kind of room for thighs or there would be some chairs that would have a narrow back that would just dig into my sides. Lets face it most "gaming chairs" are garbage and overpriced, but this one is different. I've had it for a while now and I don't suffer from fatigue like I did with other computer chairs. There is enough cushion to support me and the back rest doesn't dig into my sides. This is a nice chair that is at a decent price. *Update* I've had the chair for a while now and I will have to ding the 4 star to a 3 and here is why. Like many people, I play games on my PC for a few hours at a time and during that time I realize that there are some shortcomings with this chair. 1. You can't recline the back rest individually. - I can blame this on my posture, but I like to recline and game at the same time and this chair doesn't allow you to adjust the backrest. Basically, the chair is at a 95 degree angle and you cannot adjust this. If you lean back the entire chair goes with you. 2. Arm rests don't have a lot of cushion. - There is maybe a small foam pad that is used for the arm rest, but it feels like you are just leaning on the hard plastic because the pad is so thin. 3. Arms are not adjustable. - The arms are fixed to the chair, so if you want to raise, lower or spread them you are out of luck. This chair is fine if you are going to sit for an hour or less, but if you are planning on doing longer sessions I would reconsider. ... show more

  • Updated Review: Excellent customer service; very comfortable chair!
Color: Black
**UPDATE: from 2 to 5 stars. Contacted customer service for a replacement arm piece, and they were very prompt in their reply. Not only did they refund me the cost of the chair (was not expecting that, as I am keeping the chair), they sent me tracking info for a replacement piece for the part that was damaged that I should receive by next week. In the meantime, I've been using the chair and I still stand by my original post. Great looking, very easy to put together. I have a lot of back issues (spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, neck issues), and am a graphic designer, so I have to spend a lot of time at a desk in front of a computer. This chair is in my home office, and is super comfortable and supportive. That coupled with the outstanding customer service... I would definitely purchase from this seller again. In fact, I'm going to go look at what else they sell in case anything I'm looking for happens to be in their inventory. Original Review: Received mine today. Beautiful chair and very easy to put together. However, the left (if you are sitting in it) arm came ripped on the leather. I reached out to the seller and will change my review to a higher rating depending on the customer service/replacement of the arm. Otherwise very comfortable. ... show more

  • Excellent chair
Color: Black
I had been using a cheap Target computer chair for a few months, since my old good-quality chair had finally given out after years of service and I didn't have the money to replace it with another good-quality model. I work at my computer for 8+ hours a day, so sitting in that chair without back support was causing me a lot of pain. I browsed around on Amazon for a few days, comparing different chairs. Overall, this one had the best reviews, so I took the plunge and ordered it. Two days later, this beauty was sitting on my front porch waiting to be assembled. Assembly: Super easy. There were MAYBE 5 steps to put it all together. All of the pieces were in the box and none of the pieces, including the actual chair part, were damaged or malformed in any way. Aesthetics: This is a nice-looking chair. The materials seem to be high-quality; no funky leather-ish smell at all either. It goes really well with my black computer monitor, black speakers, black desk, black computer, etc. Functional quality: This chair swivels and glides smoothly across the floor. The raise/lower lever doesn't stick, and the chair doesn't lower over time under my weight. I'm 5'8 and 260 lbs for reference, so it seems to be a pretty sturdy chair. It's not a tight fit when I sit down either; the seat itself is decently wide and deep. The back of the chair is sturdy yet forgiving- it's not like sitting against a brick wall, but it provides nice back support. The top of the back comes up to my ears (again, I'm 5'8 for reference). Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this office chair to anyone who needs a comfortable, ergonomically supportive chair. ... show more

  • Not a bad first office/gaming chair
Color: Black
I bought my chair 6 years ago while I was on sale, and it's still kicking strong! It's held me up all these years all 252 lb of me, it's kind of big but not like other gaming chairs. It was easy to put together with instructions definitely not hard anyone can do it, I will admit if you don't have enough cushion you will feel it in your back for sure. I have a pillow that I use to sit on while I'm sitting in the chair and it's practically gravy! Not a bad first gaming chair or office chair, it reclines like any normal chair I like how far back did it goes but mine is pretty loud when it creaks back and the pictures are true to its color as well, still all around good chair ... show more
