I’ve been using this charger for a few months. It replaced a cheaper level 1 and 2 charger I bought on Amazon a year ago. The old one always got hot in the outlet and seemed like a fire hazard. This new charger doesn’t get hot like the old one, and ai haven’t had any issues charging level 1.

Not the cheapest option, but this thing is very rugged/ solid. I have verified that it is waterproof by charging in my driveway in the rain. Typical Dewalt build quality. This thing will probably outlast my vehicle. I highly recommend this product for mobile ev charging.

Didn't work right out of the box. Unit was defective which is very unusual for Dewalt products. Sent it back for a refund.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) So, I grabbed the DEWALT Level 1 & 2 Portable EV Charger for $300, and it’s been a solid investment. For starters, it’s versatile—it works with both 120V and 240V outlets, so whether you’re in the garage or out on the road, you’re covered. Plus, with a 25 ft. cable, I’m not doing any weird car-dance trying to reach an outlet. It’s sturdy too, typical DEWALT style, like it’s ready to survive being dropped or dragged around (though maybe don’t test that theory too often). Bonus points for being outdoor-friendly. Rain? No problem—this charger’s not scared of a little drizzle. Looks-wise, it’s no show-off, but it’s sleek and gets the job done. At $300, it’s pretty well priced compared to some of the other ridiculously expensive options out there. Overall, 4/5 stars because, while it’s great for everyday charging, it could be faster at higher amp settings. But hey, for the price, it’s hard to complain too much. Solid buy!
