Was looking all over for an alarm clock that the top button turns it off rather than snooze. This works perfectly for that. If you prefer a snooze function you can switch it to that as well. So many options to make it fit your needs. I got this for my 13 year old so that he can manage it himself rather than his last one that required an app to set it and turn it off. That was fine when he was little, but he is old enough now to manage his alarm on his own. The set up was a breeze, kiddo did it himself. You can set a different time for each day so he was able to set it to go off only for school days. The display and sound settings make it highly customizable, so this would work for young or old, boy or girl. It's small but the read out is bright and clear, and auto dims for night time. love this clock - I wanted on that is corded (plugged in) as I am tire of resetting my AA battery operated alarm clock each time I changed the batteries (the clock is like over 10 years ol0 - this one is perfect, easy to set up and the sleep sound feature is a bonus - I will see if it actually self-adjust when DST ends in November. Yes, at $40.00 it is a tad pricey but I just love all the features, and the "retro" look of the clock is so cute too! ... show more

Love it! It’s fantastic. I like how the brightness auto adjusts. Easy to use. I like how you’re able to have multiple alarms. One down side is that it’s not super loud if you like to sleep with a loud fan like I do.

I wasn't sure I would like this, but the interface is easy to use. the alarm sounds have enough variety to pick one that suits your mood. Does an accurate job of keeping time, and I like the temperature and humidity display as well.

I cannot sleep in a perfectly quiet room, but I also startle easily out of sleep and find traditional alarms a bit shocking to wake up to, so this product seemed like an excellent addition to our household's bedrooms. I like that there are a number of different clock display faces on offer… although outside of two or so, of them the rest seemed rather silly, perhaps more focused on children - ? But the classic clock face is great, and there is good range of dimmability too, so it will not overly brighten what should be a nice, dark room for sleeping. They're also many sound options to choose from for a wake up alarm, including several options that allow you to wake up in a more subtle way, with the audio starting off quietly and then building. The interface menus are quite simple to use and intuitive, so props there. The thing that I find befuddling though is the white noise overnight sleep effect -- a key reason that I ordered this product. The sound cycles up and down every 10 minutes, diminishing to almost nothing and then surging back thereafter. The purpose for me in using white noise is to create a soothing, **steady** sound to facilitate sleeping. This sound is not steady, and I can't quite understand why this odd cycling would be a function of the machine. It is, thought, quite cute that the machine offers various little screen display options to choose from to accompany your white noise, from a tiny fireplace to shooting stars in the night sky. I’d suggest for the would-be buyer: consider your main purpose for this device. For me, because I was really counting on steady white noise from it, that function falls short. However, if you simply want to use it as an alarm clock, I think you’ll be very satisfied. ... show more
