my only regret is not thinking or looking for a monster pair of cutters like this years ago! i had smaller shorter ones but nothing like this. cutting through tree roots effortlessly for my hardscape perfect digging out dirt. and we have a bunch of very big dappled willow trees that i’m pruning all summer long, so these will be great for that too they look and feel very heavy duty so hopefully they last awhile but at the price point they can afford to be replaced every few years in my opinion. ... show more

Good quality and they stay sharp for a while. The hand is long to help reach higher or lower areas depending on different abilities. My suggestion would make th clipper portion larger maybe? They work great. They are quite a bit lighter than my old wood-handled loppers and cut just as well. Highly recommended. My old ones were over 20 years old and still going strong, but my son needed a set so I bought the new ones. They seem durable enough to last as long as my old ones have.

I thought at this price point that they would be flimsy at best. I bought them because I didn't have any real heavy lopping to do. I was wrong, these are a lot heavier duty than I expected, and they worked beautifully for what I wanted. I wish I knew this 8 years ago.
