The long handles are nice because I'm short and it helps me reach stragglers hanging from trees, and they're so sharp that I don't need a lot of leverage to cut stuff. Does a great job cutting my bushes. Sharp and heavy duty. Does not take much effort to do the job. The handles extend pretty far so you shouldn't need a ladder unless your cutting tall bushes/short trees.

I purchased these to replace the last pair of identical Fiskars branch loppers that lasted me 20 years before they finally got a little bit sprung. They’re good for cutting branches up to about 3/4” inches in diameter and they are built too last. They are extremely light weight yet extremely durable. The the cutting blades will get a little dinged up over time but they never need sharpening. I’ve chopped up a whole lot of tree limbs in my time so that I can put them in a compost pile. This is a great tree trimmer. The price was very reasonable and are very strong. My only complaint is that mine arrived with a missing rivet that holds the grip handle on.
