I’m a female, about 5’6” 190 lbs and I got the medium Pinnacle which fits perfectly. I have honestly never had a more comfortable vest and I’ve had the other brands - Salomon, ultimate direction, etc. I love the water bottles with the straws, the zipper pockets and the slip pockets in the back. The material is so soft it feels like a t shirt and it’s so lightweight. When adding a bladder, there’s good balance in weight between the front and back and as long as you push the air out of the bladder, there’s not much sloshing. I was down to the osprey duro 6, Salomon adv skin 5 or Nathan Pinnacle 4L and I’m sooooo glad I went with the Nathan!! 5 star product.

I bought this as last minute when my blue Nathan vest ripped. I was worried about buying Nathan off Amazon. When I got it and ran in it. Thankfully it held well in long race. It has 2 big pockets for collapsible water bottles. 2 small pockets then 2 inner pockets for storages. It does have back pocket for litter water tank. Im glad I got this!

Saw this particular model at the Nathan booth of a Half Marathon- MUCH better price through Amazon. I almost returned it though because it leaked the first two times I used it and was pretty much unable to get any water out of it! The draw was almost impossible. Took the bladder out of the pack, filled it up and figured out that the hose wasn’t quite screwed in all the way. So leak is fixed. Turns out the draw is a little hard to figure out if you are old and can’t see fine details 😂. Up and down on the clear plastic to lock and unlock AND there is a correct orientation for the blue tip - horizontal in the mouth. (Vertical and almost nothing draws). Problems solved and now it’s perfect! Very happy.

These vests are very nice. If you order the right size there is absolutety no bounce. There are plenty pockets and spaces to tuck items for your run. The flasks are easy to put in the pockets when filled. We really like these and are very happy with our purchase. The only thing we would prefer to have is that the two flasks would come with flip tops for quick and easy refill, rather than the screw on tops.

I purchased this for marathon training. It is definitely the perfect size for long runs over 2 hours. The pack stays in place and is light and comfortable. The pockets are nice, but the "phone pocket" does not fit my iPhone13 with an otterbox defender case on it so I have to put the phone is the water pocket on the front. It fits great there but it is not convenient to take the phone in and out during a run, so I highly recommend testing out the size of the phone pocket with your phone prior to purchasing. I can get past this, but the real issue for me is how hard it is to drink out of the bite value. The water does not freely out with a simple bite, you also have to use it like a straw while biting and it is still doesn't come out fast. I sipped it every mile during my 15 mile run yesterday and still only consumed 500mL the whole run because of the difficulty getting the water out. Not sure if this is normal for other bite values?? But this is very disappointing to me and makes me wish I just tired a less expensive pack that has better phone storage for my phone and hopefully an easier to use bite valve. I removed the tags before discovering these issues, otherwise I would return and try something different. Overall, it's not horrible, just not as helpful I thought it would be especially for the price.

This is a really nice running vest. But is seems a little strange that I, a 41 year old, complete normal build guy, have to get a women's XL ??? I have tried all sizes and the only one that fits is the women's XL. But okay, that is not a big problem just a really big pain in the ass buying and returning. Also a big waste of resources!! A real problem is that both soft flask are leaking (one only a little bit, the other a lot). Maybe I am just really unlucky. We will see after contacting Nathan, which I will right now and give you an update as soon as I hear back from them.
