I'm loving this set! I now have every size of cast iron pan that I need, in order to cook pretty much anything I want. This set comes with 8, 10 and 12 inch pans PLUS 3 glass lids and 3 silicone handle covers. It's a fabulous deal, especially when compared to the prices of Lodge cast iron cookware. I got this entire set for around what 1 Lodge 12 inch pan with a lid costs. I'm impressed with the quality and durability. The performance is also spot on. They cook just as evenly as the 14 inch Lodge cast iron pan that my grandma gave me. They're well weighted and heavy duty pans. They come pre-seasoned, but I always like to season my cast iron again when I get them. Seasoning always sounded so difficult until my grandma gave me her secret. Rub the entire pan, including the handle, with flaxseed oil, then put in a 500 degree preheated oven for 1 hour. After an hour, turn the oven off and let it sit in the oven until cool. Simple as that! Everything I've made in these pans has turned out perfectly. We've made steaks, potatoes, bacon and eggs. I've even used a metal spatula without any of the seasoning coming off. I love the silicone handle covers. They fit on nice and tight, so I don't have to worry about them sliding off when I'm using the pan. The glass lids are extremely well made with tempered glass and have a stainless steel rim that reinforces the glass, so it's shatter-proof. They're also oven safe and have a silicone handle on the top. I HIGHLY recommend these pans and I'll definitely come back to this brand whenever I need another stainless steel pan. Believe me you won't be disappointed!!

First off, if you are coming to the reviews while deciding to buy, these look exactly like the pic for the sets . second I bought the 17pc set #3 . that's 17 pieces total from pans to holder to accessories. 9 pots or pans (Dutch oven lid doubles as a pan), one lid which fits the square pan, one pan holder shelf, 2 scrapers ( 1 textured 1 flat) and 6 silicone handles. These are easy to use once you aquaint yourself with how cast iron is and proper cleaning methods. They are heavy. It's cast iron not some flimsy pan so be prepared to carry in a heavy box or unbox on your porch and carry in the individual packing boxes. Our came in a variety of sizes for all of someone's cooking needs. The smaller 6in is great for eggs or single burger etc or to bake up a small batch of corn bread in. The heat distribution is much better than a thin pan there is less uneven heat temps like a cheapo pan with Teflon. So while the part on the burner may be slightly hotter, overall the heat is better distributed. If you preheat these to a good temp and use oil or butter, things shouldn't stick , make sure to keep a decent amt going. I can't stress how good of a value this set is!! I've priced pieces individually in stores and one piece can be $30-50. I've also priced second hand pieces and they want more $ than buying new

I like that this set comes with matching covers, and the heat resistant handles are a nice touch. Fully seasoned out of the box. I use them all regularly and all my old frying pans went to the thrift store.

This product is huge which I wanted! The sides are just deep enough to function perfectly for what I need. The cleaning tool and rubber guards for the handle are a great added bonus. The cooking capacity is great as well as the quality. I also loved that there was an option for a lid. Product has a non smooth surface so lint free rags/ paper towels are needed to apply oil to it after use. Can’t just open clean and cook. While it’s preseasoned it’s highly recommended to fry some bacon on it and take the season to the next level.

These are a great quality set! I've been wanting to make the jump to cast iron for some time but dreaded getting my wife to adapt from the nonstick pans she loves. Finally threw them away and ordered these. Feels good to know we're not eating those chemicals. Seasoned these after receiving and they work wonders. We cook eggs in the middle one daily and you couldn't tell it wasn't non stick!
