It heats beautifully and evenly from its flat bottom to the top of its sides. A little oil ensures that food cooks evenly without sticking. Expensive but very good quality and works well. Heavy and sturdy. Food does not stick. Should only use on medium flame. Overall - a great wok but for 12 inches- seems small. I wish they made a 14 inch or 16 inch wok/ sautée pan. Will look to buy another HexClad but want to find right size and style. Beware of fakes out there - Only buy authentic HexClad!

I’ve had this wok for a few months now, and I can honestly say it’s the best one I’ve ever used. The nonstick surface is fantastic, food just slides right off, and cleanup is super easy. It heats up quickly and evenly, and I love that it works perfectly on my induction cooktop. The handle stays cool even when the pan gets really hot, which is great when I’m doing high-heat stir-frying. It just feels solid and well made. What really sold me, though, is the lifetime warranty. It’s rare to see a company back their product like that, and it gave me confidence in the purchase. I’ve used it for everything from stir fries to searing meat, and it handles it all like a pro. Even after repeated use, it still looks and performs like new. If you’re looking for a reliable, high quality wok that will last, this is 100% worth it.

Best. Pan. Ever. I bit the bullet on this wok and it was the best decision I’ve made in a minute. Worth every penny!!! No sticking, easy to care for, heats evenly, dishwasher safe, large enough to feed an army. Get one! You won’t regret it.

We were hesitant to purchase bc of the price, but this wok, pot, frying pan, bowl has been the best kitchen utensil purchase we’ve made in a long time. It’s gorgeous, has the perfect weight so as not to be so heavy I dread using it (like LeCreuset) and not light and flimsy like many cheap pots and pans. I absolutely love using this! I’ve been using it every day since we purchased it and bc of the craftsmanship, durability, even cooking and quick clean up we’ve decided to purchase the entire Hexclad set. My husband and I went back & forth with me wanting the 12” and him saying just get the 14”— I gave in and purchased the 14” and I’m so glad I did! I use this as a large bowl as well. It’s gorgeous, functional and truly is high quality. On a side note: we are not Gordon Ramsay fans and my husband was actually annoyed at how much we love this bc he really can’t stand him (I couldn’t care less) — but even my hubby admitted that Ramsay endorses a great product. We’re sorry we didn’t pick up the entire set during their Black Friday sale but we will purchase their largest set as soon as they go on sale again. Really can’t recommend this cookware highly enough. Fabulous! I cannot believe I’m so excited over cookware! Lol! I suddenly feel so old! But if you’re on the fence about this, I strongly recommend buying bc you’ll get a lot of use out of it and it’s a beautifully made, solid piece.

Purchased this for my boyfriend who loves to cook. The hexclad replaced a copper skillet. The hexclad is the last skillet we'll have to buy. Sturdy and well made. Goes in the oven too. So happy with this purchase.
