In the first few days I cooked toast, frozen waffles, and tacos. and used it to air fry french fries from scratch, breaded fish patties for sandwiches, chimichangas, and hard-boiled eggs. I had no previous experience with air frying, and I cannot believe how easy this to use, and how easy it is to clean. I keep a sheet of foil on the bottom of the pan, which helps to keep the pan clean, and most often even the foil wipes clean, and is good for many uses. Do not put foil or anything on the crumb tray though. It did take me 3 tries to get my toast the way I like, but it was easy to adjust the settings to make it right for me. It makes great toast, and everything else has cooked great on my first attempt. It is a powerful convection toaster oven, and air fryer with many options to choose from. Please read the manual! The Manual is very good, and you can also download it from the Cuisinart website. Like any new appliance, it takes several times of using the dials and buttons, before it starts to feel normal, and you understand how they all work. Then you can adjust settings to your liking with ease. This is a big improvement from the Breville Smart Oven that I bought. The fan in it went out after 7 years. It was one of the best toaster ovens available when I bought it, but after 7 years of newer technology, it had nowhere near the cooking potential, or quality of this Cuisinart. I don't know why this was so hard to find, as it is not in any of our local stores. Shame on them. However, the box is quite large, and would require a lot of shelf space. I am very happy to have this in my kitchen. It is a very good cooking appliance of high quality. Keeping it clean should make it last for many years. ... show more

    • Great Oven/Air Fryer - But has NO manual SHUT-OFF button/switch.

LOVE this as an Air fryer and a second Oven! So far I have had EXCELLENT results baking, toasting and Air Frying, which I was hesitant to get an "all-in-one" appliance but am very pleased so far. The ONLY ODD thing about this Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven is there's NO MANUAL SHUT OFF switch or button. I understand it must go through a cool-down process after completing a cooking cycle BUT the unit will then turn itself back on and sit there blinking as it waits for another function/temp/time to be entered, eventually if you ignore that it will finally shut itself off. I searched the Cuisinart website, unit manual and on-line reviews with no luck other than "unplug it." When I tried that and plugged it back in the unit went right back to the same blinking/function status. That seems very strange. Hard for me to ignore but I'm dealing with it. I personally find this annoying and frustrating not to be able to manually shut it off. Other than that I would have given a 5 star review but, all in all, I am VERY pleased with how it works as an oven and air fryer! ... show more

This replaced our second Breville. It is an adjustment, but we have been so pleased with this purchase. It even toasts my GF bagels on the first try, which Breville did not. Highly recommend, and has so many features. We have not been disappointed by any of our Cuisinart pieces.

Bought this two days ago. Just arrived. Easy set up right out of the box. Just plug it in and ready to go. I replaced a Breville joule which I had for the last three years and it just became impossible to clean so I threw it in the garbage last week. But this model not only because of all of the features but also because of the easy to clean interior coating which is unique. Additionally, the TAO-95 model is the only one which will allow full size 9x13 baking dishes. The -50 and -60 models will not. It is quite tall and if you're placing it on a countertop, it will be too close to the upper cabinets. Simply pulling it forward to the edge of the counter is all it takes to safely use it. ... show more

Received in January of 2024. Used less than ten times. The controls wouldn’t work. Everything was lit up, but no buttons worked to operate the oven. Emailed product support with Cuisinart and went back-and-forth troubleshooting questions, more questions, more things to try, and then it was decided we needed to get it replaced. Sent pictures via email of the cord cut proving our machine was now totally In operable. They acknowledged everything was received and I would receive a new machine in two weeks. Several weeks later, I emailed again and oh, they did not receive the pictures. I needed to resend them. Resent the pictures they said wait another two weeks and I would receive the machine. I called the third time instead of emailing and once again they had no pictures received so they said everything‘s good and i would receive the machine in two weeks. It’s July and this started in June called Cuisinart again and they could barely find my information and discovered that it was waiting for UPS so I see it on my UPS tracking that it’s waiting for UPS for two weeks. At this point I’m reaching out to Amazon for a refund. I am done. ... show more

Cons: Temp settings are only set in groups of 25, so if you want to bake at 380, you’re out of luck Large so it takes up quite a bit of counter space Pricey Let me say I use this EVERYDAY! It takes way less time than my oven and performs better than a microwave or any other air fryer I have ever had. I would repurchase this over and over again. I’m not sure where to start. I replaced a toaster oven with a too-big footprint. This new one has several advantages: 1. the toast isn’t always burned, and if it were I could easily adjust the problem away. 2. The air fryer is big, and the basket and tray are dishwasherable. 3. It is preprogrammed for a wide variety of foods, yet is also totally adjustable. So, is there something to complain about? The regular tray used for things other than air frying is not dishwasherable. Yes, I’m a bit OCD about wanting to put everything except my wooden cutting boards in the dishwasher. Also, the clock is now wrong, and the instructions for setting the clock don't seem to work. ... show more
