This replaced our second Breville. It is an adjustment, but we have been so pleased with this purchase. It even toasts my GF bagels on the first try, which Breville did not. Highly recommend, and has so many features. We have not been disappointed by any of our Cuisinart pieces.

Better Than 5 Stars! Top Notch Quality

In the first few days I cooked toast, frozen waffles, and tacos. and used it to air fry french fries from scratch, breaded fish patties for sandwiches, chimichangas, and hard-boiled eggs. I had no previous experience with air frying, and I cannot believe how easy this to use, and how easy it is to clean. I keep a sheet of foil on the bottom of the pan, which helps to keep the pan clean, and most often even the foil wipes clean, and is good for many uses. Do not put foil or anything on the crumb tray though. It did take me 3 tries to get my toast the way I like, but it was easy to adjust the settings to make it right for me. It makes great toast, and everything else has cooked great on my first attempt. It is a powerful convection toaster oven, and air fryer with many options to choose from. Please read the manual! The Manual is very good, and you can also download it from the Cuisinart website. Like any new appliance, it takes several times of using the dials and buttons, before it starts to feel normal, and you understand how they all work. Then you can adjust settings to your liking with ease. This is a big improvement from the Breville Smart Oven that I bought. The fan in it went out after 7 years. It was one of the best toaster ovens available when I bought it, but after 7 years of newer technology, it had nowhere near the cooking potential, or quality of this Cuisinart. I don't know why this was so hard to find, as it is not in any of our local stores. Shame on them. However, the box is quite large, and would require a lot of shelf space. I am very happy to have this in my kitchen. It is a very good cooking appliance of high quality. Keeping it clean should make it last for many years. ... show more

Great Oven/Air Fryer - But has NO manual SHUT-OFF button/switch.

LOVE this as an Air fryer and a second Oven! So far I have had EXCELLENT results baking, toasting and Air Frying, which I was hesitant to get an "all-in-one" appliance but am very pleased so far. The ONLY ODD thing about this Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven is there's NO MANUAL SHUT OFF switch or button. I understand it must go through a cool-down process after completing a cooking cycle BUT the unit will then turn itself back on and sit there blinking as it waits for another function/temp/time to be entered, eventually if you ignore that it will finally shut itself off. I searched the Cuisinart website, unit manual and on-line reviews with no luck other than "unplug it." When I tried that and plugged it back in the unit went right back to the same blinking/function status. That seems very strange. Hard for me to ignore but I'm dealing with it. I personally find this annoying and frustrating not to be able to manually shut it off. Other than that I would have given a 5 star review but, all in all, I am VERY pleased with how it works as an oven and air fryer! ... show more

Just get it!

This oven is amazing. I read a lot of reviews and specs on different brands and models out there and for the price and features this one won out. I've been using an old basic large toaster oven for over a decade, I loved it for ease of use over the regular oven for most days but the convection function never worked very well on it and we've been wanting to get an air fryer for some time. Lacking counter space, it seemed time to upgrade our toaster oven to something better to meet all our needs. Wish I'd done it a long time ago! There is a bit of a learning curve to me, and figuring out the sweet spot of temp vs time, but our leftovers have never tasted so fresh! Our old oven would pretty much just dry things out with the outside being soggy still, but everything we've cooked in this Cuisinart has come out nice and done on the outside and perfectly heated inside. Even used the proofing option for holiday rolls, it was a nice feature to have. Definitely was a bit of a splurge initially, but I think it'll be more than worth it in the end. ... show more

DIDNT WORK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX

BE SURE TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT THIS Product was purchased new and received quickly as expected. Lights would light up after plugged in BUT would not heat up at all. Called tech support who did what they could and then told me I had to call Cuisinart. Called Cuisinart and had me jump through the same hoops only to tell me it would take up to 48 HOURS to receive a shipping label and they WOULD NOT send another product until I returned the defective one. Boxed up the product after waiting almost 48 HOURS and took to the local shipping store only to be told that I had to pay to ship it back UNLESS I DROVE AN HOUR TO A DIFFERNT SHIPPING STORE ONLY TO FIND OUT ITS NOT FOR FREE AND WILL COST $131.00 TO RETURN. At this point I called Cuisinart only to find out that because I bought it through Amazon I WOULD NOT RECEIVE THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE. I then asked to speak to a manager at which time they but me on hold and after 15minutes 8 seconds they hung up on me LOVE Amazon - Cuisinart NOT SO MUCH ... show more

Bought this two days ago. Just arrived. Easy set up right out of the box. Just plug it in and ready to go. I replaced a Breville joule which I had for the last three years and it just became impossible to clean so I threw it in the garbage last week. But this model not only because of all of the features but also because of the easy to clean interior coating which is unique. Additionally, the TAO-95 model is the only one which will allow full size 9x13 baking dishes. The -50 and -60 models will not. It is quite tall and if you're placing it on a countertop, it will be too close to the upper cabinets. Simply pulling it forward to the edge of the counter is all it takes to safely use it. ... show more

Round Two -- So Far So Good!

We contacted Cuisinart directly and they were very helpful. We only had to explain the problem to one person, and they sent us a brand new oven which has worked beautifully from day one! We now use it almost everyday. Thank goodness for happy endings! We've hardly used the oven since we bought it because every time I try to use it, it works for about 5 minutes and then gives an E01 error message -- regarding which I can't find any info about on their website. So we unplug it, count to 10, and then try again. It ends up taking longer to cook even the quickest item than it would've if I'd used a crockpot. And now apparently, even tho we've only had it since the middle of July, not even 90 days(it feels like 90 years!) we can't give them the benefit of the doubt and exchange it. I've never been so disgusted in my life!! I'm thinking for more than $300 I should get at least a year's worth of use. ... show more
