  • Great juicer and well worth the investment. Is very effective.
Very good juicer. Would recommend cutting fruits and veggies into smaller pieces and not put in celery stalks in whole. Cutting up juice items into smaller pieces helps the machine squeeze more juice from the fruit or veggie. Easy to store, works quickly and has a lot of power. It is also easy to clean but the strainer needs more scrubbing. It comes with a brush which really helps with cleaning the screen. ... show more

  • Great juicer
I really enjoy this juicer. It really gets the juice out of fruits and vegetables. I have noticed that near end there is some in the machine that won't get juiced, but is minimal. Relatively easy to clean as long as you have the brush. For a person new to juicing, this is a great machine!

  • Worst Juicer Ever
I’ve had juicers in the past where you can put entire pieces of fruits and veggies in, even entire apples. I attempted to make celery juice per the instructions, which state that one must cut stuff into 4” pieces. It got completely clogged within 10 oz. and I had to strain it with a cheesecloth in order to get all the pulp out of the juice. It was horrible to clean out, completely compacted with fiber. So, I tried to cut oranges and apples into 2” pieces, and removed the orange rinds per instructions and cored the apple. It still got clogged within minutes and you could see pulp in the juice again. So, halfway through, I had to disassemble, clean out, then continue to make my juice. I got 15 oz. and had to clean it TWICE just to get that much. They give you a 20 oz. container, but you have to clean the thing two or three times to even make that much because it will repeatedly get clogged, no matter how tiny you cut pieces or slowly you put them in the juicer. I had an engineer look at it, the instructions and make sure I was using it right. He said the design is just awful. This juicer is WHACK. ... show more

  • Good but I’m sure there’s better options
The media could not be loaded. I used this product 3 times. It’s easy to clean and wasn’t too loud. Vegetable trash came out dry. I only put 4 stars because a lot of the residue was getting stuck inside where it was supposed to be getting squished. Because of this I had to throw away a couple of handfuls of fruits/vegs. To fix this I had to take it apart and take out what was in the black part. Another complaint I had was that the celery hair would get stuck in the shoot where the trash would come out even if they were cut into 2 inches pieces. In one of the videos you’re able to see the celery hair sticking out. Overall the machine needs help to do its job and unless you’re willing to be patient with it then you won’t have your juice. It did juice oranges well, I used 8 small oranges in the picture with the orange juice. I think I will be keeping it unless I find a better one. I recommend placing different fruits/vegs around the same time considering that it got stuck when I only put it pineapple. This also might have been because I was putting them in too fast. ... show more

  • Does extract more juice than a centrifugal type
I have the Nutribullet 80 which is super easy to use no chopping unless too big then in half and no seeding etc but the slow juicer does extract maybe 20% more juice so if you juice $1,000 worth of things you save $250 over the 80 model so worth it year over year. Couple things to get used to have to seed fruits and cut things up small pieces and the cleaning after takes 5-12 minutes as opposed to 1-5 on the 80 the basket is harder to brush and there's the port where pulp comes out and anything like kale will leave lots of fiberous strands that take time to poke out, and finally the 80 juice is ready to drink but the slow can give you some foamy juice that you have to lt sit for 5 minutes to get foam to rise to top. But I thought the juice itself tasted better from the slow juicer probably because I juice lemons and the 80 puts alot of the rind into the juice so it's super tart and slightly bitter the slow juicer keeps the rind out. Definitely a nice juicer. The next step is the $2,000 juice press which probably gets another 5% out over the slow ... show more

  • Great value for a compact and effective juicer
This is my first juicing experience, so I went with a brand that was listed on a blogger’s top 10 under $200. I’ve had it for about a month now and it is very easy to use and easy to clean. I’m juicing every morning between 20 and 40 ounces so that I can drink my juice throughout the day as part of an anti-cancer protocol. Takes about 30 minutes to juice and clean up. Not bad! I’ve juiced carrots, parsnips, beets, ginger, lemons, limes, peppers, melons, apples, oranges, spinach, turmeric root, celery, parsley, garlic, cucumbers, and a few other veggies. The only thing that got caught, and the instructions warned me against this, were the greens. I’ve since learned that few juicers under $200 can handle leafy greens, but if I roll the spinach up real tight, kind of like a cigar, it’ll go through and I get a decent amount of juice. I blend the parsley in a separate blender and just add it to my juice after the fact. I am really enjoying the process and feel absolutely great. If this one lasts me another year or so, then I will consider it a worthwhile buy. If I’m still juicing, I will probably invest in a more expensive juicer that can handle leafy greens with less prep. Update: 2 months of use…still going strong. Hubby getting in on the action. And friends constantly comment on my glowing skin. Have had some success with “juicier” greens (like romaine), but they take much longer than my normal recipe (beets, celery, cucumber, carrots, lemon, apple). I am looking at a second juicer (the Nama brand) that can handle all herbs and greens. Still consider this a great juicer… and still love juicing. I just want to be able to juice greens and herbs. (Nama model I’m looking at costs 550… significantly more… but extracts more juice, handles greens and herbs, and has a 15 yr warranty.) ... show more

  • Petit but faulty
Cover is extremely hard to open after juicing. Also gets stuck many times and stops to work.
