Just What We Needed!
We have an epileptic cat we need to keep safe from the staircase and drop space from the banister. We also have another cat that can jump VERY high, so we needed something tall enough he couldn't clear. We built a barrier for the banister and swinging door to the staircase. It's perfect for what we needed it for. I'm extremely happy and grateful I found this option after a lot of searching and spinning ideas in my head for a safe and effective barrier.

Deluxe Deer Barrier
I bought this fencing cut into individual tubes to protect my new trees. Deer ruin new trees with their antlers and eating. Last year they pushed through deer netting and decimated my Wahoo, so I got bad. Using wire cutters (bolt cutters are easiest!) I cut this fencing into tubes. I secure each tube with 4 heavy duty nylon zip ties, put the tube over the tree, and nail the tubes to the ground with 4 12" heavy duty galvanized garden staples. Deer dine elsewhere. I bough this fencing because of it's cheap price. Note! This fencing is wound extremely tight! It is hard to unwind. I had to use my garden staples to hold it down while I cut it. It shipped in a hurry and there was no shipping fee, so it was worth the trouble.

Hogwire Pet Fence
Just used this wire for my 8 foot high pet fence. Amazon was the only store that sold 72" x 50 ft rolls of galvanized steel wire that shipped for free. My contractor didn't have any issues. The galvanized steel appears strong and retains its shape for the most part. Only time will tell if it holds up to the weather and more importantly my 3 kittens. I am hoping that they don't climb up it or chew it. I'll report back in a few months. Ok it's been up all summer. One of my cats does climb up it and it's holding up fine. No breakage or warping so far.

Good deal for the price
From reading other review, I knew going in that the wire welds weren't going to hold well--it lived up to my expectations. With that said, it worked fine for the chicken pen that I purchased it for and I plan to buy it again to finish the pen. Just know that the wire welds aren't the strongest and be gentle when installing. Once installed, it's holding up fine.

Best for escape artist dogs.
The gage and welding is sound and performs very well. So many out there cannot hold a dog. This product holds 8 of our largest and smartest escape artists, 8 service dogs of varied type and purpose.
