  • Best you can get when cost/performance ratio is highest importance
Capacity: 2TB Style: T710
I bit the bullet and purchased this at one of the worst times in history to buy anything with a memory chip in it. I previously had a 990 pro in my gen 5 slot, so I move that to one of the gen 4 slots, and moved this to my gen 5 slot. Threw clonezilla on a jump and swapped all my data over to this drive (they're both 2tb). It is fast, for sure. Noticable (not huge, but they're there, the 990 pro is one of the best you can get, but it's more expensive for a gen 4) my on board heatsink is mitigating heat well, as others have said, you will absolutely need heat mitigation. Windows sucks and would not let me get rid of the existing system partitions, so I created a bootable mint jump and created one 2tb (windows reads it as 1.8, linux 2) in gparted. Formating was easy in linux, not so great in windows. ... show more

  • Top-tier performance at a (relatively) reasonable price
Capacity: 4TB Style: T710
I had been using Samsung SSDs for over 15 year but balked at the prices of the Samsung 990 and 9100 M.2 SSDs in February 2026 while putting together a new computer build. The "Overall Pick" Crucial T710 was notably faster than either of them yet cost hundreds of dollars less, so I went with that. I was not disappointed. The T710 is a top-tier NVMe SSD that costs the same as or less than many lower-performance SSDs of similar size. (It's $80 less than the Samsung 990 EVO Plus) When SSD prices come back down from the stratosphere, I'd like to get a second one. ... show more

  • The best in the market.👾
Capacity: 2TB Style: T710
The best M.2 right now in the market. Is a superman into you PC is super fast, yes is hot for like it's, but with a good heatsink all is perfect, this ssd M.2 support upon 90.c if surpass this stop working but not burn.
Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2026 by AAA+ The package arrived really quickly, and in good condition, thanks, 100% recommended. Super fast and for me the best ssd by the moment.

  • Absolute beast for pc!

  • Not ready for prime time (the latest 14.5MB.s model 710)
Capacity: 4TB Style: T710
I read the reviews for this before purchasing it, and most all were positive, but beware - most of the reviews are for the other SSDs in the Crucial product line. All of the reviews got lumped together and with the rest of their SSDs. This model, the 710, boasts write speeds of 14,500 MB/s which is quite fast. I wanted to take advantage of this newer technology, but as usual, being an early adopter does not always work out. The SSD does not even come with a thermal tape for heat dissipation. I didn't need a heatsink, but they could have at least tossed in an adhesive heat strip for almost $500. First, the SSD runs quite hot. This is not uncommon, but a bit hotter than I'm used to. I tried to clone an SSD to this one. I failed the first try with a sector write error. I tried it several more times with three different software packages - Acronis backup and restore, Windows backup, and EaseUS Partition manager. I have used these packages previously and they always worked fine. With each attempt, I experienced sector write errors - sometimes in the same sector or a sector close to it. I could not make a single successful copy of the source SSD. I returned it and purchased a Samsung 4TB SSD. Although the Samsung SSD is slightly slower, my disk clone worked the first time. I tried all three backup programs and all of them worked fine. Although I can't say for sure, I think that in this case Crucial may have pushed the envelope a bit too much leading to the failures I experienced. ... show more

  • Buggy Performance
Capacity: 1TB Style: T710
Good: It's fast.. At times i have seen over a gig of internal transfer rate. It works and can utilize a gen 5 PCI connector. You will however need to make sure your board uses a heat sync style drive install port. Mediocre: The drive is thin, this doesn't matter in nvme drives of gen 3 and older as they don't get hot, but when you use a cheap board and it gets hot, a thin cheap piece of plastic isn't ideal. Bad: The driver support for a gen5 connector is buggy at best.. The drive's firmware is ultra buggy, updates have helped, but it's not as reliable as a western digital or seagate. ... show more
