Been a fan of Crucial SSDs since thr MX300. Nice to see their foray into nvme. Haven't ran proper benchmarks, but the timr to install Windows 10 from USB3 flash drive was incredibly fast. Boots up fast as well. For a processing/rendering/games drive, do look up benchmarking, but unless longevity is a problem (I've had no issues with previous Crucial drives yet), this is a great little model. ... show more

Works as advertised. Easy add on for my LG gram 16T90Q. Zero compatibility issues for me. Went from 500 GB to an additional 1 TB. I've always trusted and bought Crucial for my storage needs including desktop PC's. Will I ever need this much space? Probably not. It's nice to know if I ever do, it's there. Update: I forgot to mention the Acronis software for cloning. I initially struggled with the process, but the third attempt (my errors, not the software) went flawlessly and effortless. I originally bought the p310 to upgrade a sata m.2 ssd in my laptop, but thought it might be a nice upgrade to the wd black sn770 I had in my desktop. Boy was I wrong. Only in the first 2 read tests in crystal disk did it do better than the sn770. All the other tests were significantly worse. It's also not nearly as responsive. I'll give it 5 stars because its cheap and I have no doubt it'll be great in my laptop. ... show more

This is the fifth time I've bought a Crucial SSD to upgrade a PC. As you can tell, I have a lot of brand loyalty, all based on personal experience. The devices themselves are of high quality; they're drop in replacements. The thing I've been happiest about with Crucial is the seamless process of cloning my existing system to the new drive. Crucial provides Acronis software that does the cloning quickly and accurately. One note about the NVMe drives - you'll likely need to buy a USB adapter to connect it to your system. It's not a problem, and they're available for $10-15 - it's just something to know when you're making the purchase. ... show more
