I have long locs and wanted to color them back to jet black from my natural hair color which is natural black. I brought eleven boxes to be safe but I only needed nine, so I have two extra for a touch up. There were no gloves in my boxes so I did knock a star off (not Amazon’s fault). There was a slight burning sensation that was subsided but returned after applying the conditioner but it was nothing crazy (they should add extra conditioner because a sample packet isn’t doing anything, lol). The color turns into your hair FAST which is good but if you have longer hair you have to move quickly with the application due to the recommended time given to leave the color in prior to rinsing. As I was applying it baby, I was like oooh! The jet black is black! I left the color in like 40-45 minutes and I was still good since I left the conditioner in just as long. My hair is soft and shiny and once I retwist and style my hair it’s a wrap! 😂 It’s hair color so no need for an elaborate review. Hopefully the color lasts for a good while because it took a while for me to finish. All in all I recommend this brand of hair dye and will update my review within four to five weeks from writing my review. ... show more
