This is exactly what I’ve wanted for at least 5 years. Very tall and light weight- only issue is the bottom is not even and with an hours worth of adjusting with shims and Velcro felt pads there was no fixing this issue. I’m glad it’s in a corner where it should be ok but might consider an earthquake strap later on. I’m a bit disappointed in this - p.s. our floor is level. ... show more

I must confess that I purchased the large Mora clock from the used option. I am so pleased with my purchase and not just because I saved a little money. The comments listed was as " very good with damage to the shipping box". I took the chance and am tickled pink. On arrival you could tell the box had been through the wringer, but the clock was in perfect condition. I heeded the warning from previous reviews on inserting the battery and took extra care on placement. Battery went in fine and the clock worked. Just received clock. It looks the way I expected and am happy with that. However, the battery operated clock is a mess. First, I had a hard time seating the AA battery where it goes. Negative end brace may have been damaged before I started. It is flimsy. Left back open to make sure clock was working. It was not. Returned to battery to check it was seated correctly. It was very HOT; slightly burned fingers getting it out. I think battery was damaged by flimsy housing as I tried to get it in. Decided to try again. Dropped second battery; it fell all the way to bottom of clock. One more time - dropped this battery, too, as I struggled to insert it. Turned clock on its head to roll batteries to top so they'd fall out of hole in back. Finally, got a battery seated firmly. Clock doesn't work. What do I need to do to get Creative Co-op to send me a new clock right away? The case is okay, just need clock works. Bottom line - looks lovely but big price for not great quality. Follow up: I contacted Creative Coop and they sent me a new clock to install in the case. It works just fine now. ... show more

I had seen a similar clock at Ballard Design but could not justify spending $3000. I used this as a base and painted, added a little detail to mimic the BD clock. Very happy with result!
