This RAM is good. Not perfect, already had one stick of the 4 that fails to respond to any RGB controller intermittently. I've re-seated it several times and in different slots. Currently in the RMA process with Corsair. The RAM stick is still functional though. I still have 32 GB of functioning RAM.     • Nice looking but slow.
Had trouble getting the ram to run at the pc3000 speed on my MSI Z270 A-Pro motherboard. The system would crash whenever I enabled XMP on my motherboard. Updated bios and still had trouble. I would wait until MSI releases a new bios before buying this ram. The ram looks incredible but doesn't run a rated speed and the RGB software is pretty limited. ... show more

I am using these RAMs on ASUS Crosshair Hero X470 with Ryzen 2700x. These RAMs are optimized for XMP, but as long as you update the BIOS will work fine on CH7 AMD series. One important thing. Make sure to adjust voltage on the BIOS menu. Without the exact voltage, RAM will run on low frequency. Most of time this is not a problem. It will be like "Nah, I don't need to OC RAMs.", but with these RAMs, low FRQ due to low voltage will occur a crash while installing Windows 10. This might be because W10 installation utilizes RAM and this model REQUIRES specific voltage if MOBO can't set it up on its own. This situation could be common on many AMD MOBOs. For example, CH7 HERO X470, which will recognize this RAM but not like XMP one click settings on RAMPAGE series. ... show more

Unable to get the sticks to display full red, blue, or green. Using the latest version of Corsair Link software and attempting to set the sticks to full blue with RGB values of 0, 0, and 255, respectively, the sticks are a blue/green turquoise color. Same thing when I try to set them to full red with RGB values of 255, 0, 0, respectively. Rather than red, they are a yellow/light orange color. Attempting green, I cannot even precisely describe the color they are putting out, but it is not pure green. To be clear, the color displays correctly on screen within their software, but the actual hardware lights up with the wrong color. Bottom line: at a premium price point for lighting aesthetics (I could get cheaper/faster RAM that doesn't light up), the lighting should work as advertised and it currently does not. I have reached out to Corsair support. Following a BIOS update where these are still behaving incorrectly, I have a new kit inbound.     • Died After two months of use!
I am running The B450-f gaming mobo using a asus 1660 ti GPU. I bought this ram to up grade from my 16g vengeance 2666 MHz it worked well and i was doing no overclocking and went to bed woke up and ram was dead. My computer is turned off every night so it was not on for two months straight very disappointed. ... show more

Got these today and they work just fine, pc read 32gb although i had to do alil tweaking in bios for it to clock 3000mhz , it kept reading default speed of 2133mhz , loaded up xmp and then bam, 3000 mhz and voltage @1.35v , running this on a asus strix x470- f gaming MB and ryzen 5 2600x @ 3.8 Ghz
