Item itself was exactly what I wanted, eventually… Although it took a couple try’s. My first order, I realized the sizing is actually pretty true to size. Unfortunately, I ordered a 30W and I actually needed to reorder in a 28W. This was due to many reviews saying that they fit larger in waist than advertised, so I ordered up.(That was my first mistake.) I understand that I can’t speak for others! However, as someone who usually wears a 28W-30L (in most pants: Dickies, Levi’s, Stan Rays) is 160lb. 5’11” and active, these are perfect in 28W/29W ESPECIALLY if you don’t feel like wearing a belt. Very important to me, maybe not to you, but I really appreciate that this material doesn’t stretch much at all after many wears. As a welder/mechanic you know a good pair of pants within a week at the shop and these are a solid (slightly pricey) buy. I went for a 32L because I like to cuff my carhartt pants (overalls as well) so the extra material helps the pants not become clam diggers, but a 30L is also great for 5’10”-6’0” and should still cover your 8” boots nicely, but the kids love to show their socks off these days ;p ... show more

Worth the money by today's standards. Sizing is different... im 6'2" 235. Always wear 35or 36 waist and 34 inseam in wrangler, Levi etc. With these add two inches to waste and subtract 2 inches from inseam. 38x32fits perfect.

It takes a while to ship these for some reason. Took almost 2 weeks to get them. But it's all good. The material thickness is what I've come to expect from Carhartt brand. Comfort will come with age. Shrinkage might come with age but I couldn't tell ya because I haven't washed them yet. Pocket size is just fine. Not very flattering for work pants. Not stretchy at all, as they shouldn't be. The worst part about this purchase was the wait time. Indeed I did use the "FREE" shipping option. But 2 weeks????? Come on. A discount is a discount. And that's why I bought these. They were cheaper than anywhere else you can buy Carhartt pants. But the wait time, when you amNEED pants really sucked. All though after they were shipped, they were here the next day.
