3/4 of my motherboard m.2 slots are in reverse configuration. The MP700 faceplate is removable, and it is assumed that for cosmetic purposes one can reverse it so its not reading upside down. Not easy to reverse faceplate, have to remove the fan to do so. After pulling 5 screws however, there's a massive different in fitment. It hangs over the left edge about a half inch, which is not more than the fan requires to maintain similar airflow, but it is visually abhorrent. How can the design team mess up this badly? There's no additional slots, I would have to machine a gap in the faceplate rail to get placement correct, and then I'd only be able to use one of the two screws that hold it in unless I also weld on a new fitting on the other side. Extremely disappointed. Would not require much more effort to just make it reversible from the factory with pinch clips instead of screws. this feels intentional to void my warranty. ... show more
