Description

Experience loud, powerful, brute strength with the new Easton Beast Speed -10. ATAC Alloy one-piece construction provides a light, yet powerful barrel, and the new Speed Cap helps create a more flexible and responsive barrel, while also enhancing the sound of the bat. The -10 speed design provides a lightweight swing weight for more speed behind the ball at contact. This 2018-19 Beast Speed model has a 2-3/4” barrel and features a custom LIZARD SKINS DSP batgrip for the best feel, cushion and tack. It is approved for play in USSSA and associations that follow the 1.15BPF standard.

I got this bat for my son’s travel team. I also got another USA baseball bat, same size and drop for his little league. Although both bats are supposed to be the same size and weight, this bat is much lighter. Also, on a side by side batting comparison, this bat has much more pop. The ball usually goes about another 10-20 feet extra, compared to his USA Baseball bat. In Terms of durability, we have only had it for a few months. My son loves this. He usually uses a 27 drop 10 and I thought that this would take him some time to adjust to the +1” and +1oz. He was able to swing it comfortably bc the weight is balanced nicely. I highly recommend it.

This is the best USSSA bat for $100 out there. Hands down. Tons of pop. This bat was used for two years of 12U travel ball. Most of our tournaments are USA bats so when we could play USSSA about 75% of the kids on the team used this bat. It lasted six tournaments and numerous practices before it cracked near the cap this last weekend. I bought the next size up that night. If you are a team that uses USA or BBCOR bats for most of your tournaments but only plays a few USSSA tournaments a summer and do not want to spend $300-$500 on a bat for those few tournaments then get this one. I decided on this one because of the power and durability for the price. We immediately noticed greater velocity and distance off the bat per swing.
