Serious charging problem & no battery eject button. I bought one of these drills and found that the battery would not charge. The unit actually appeared to be well designed. I thought it was just a single defective unit so I returned the drill and ordered another one. After receiving the new drill, the battery was dead so I plugged in the new drill to the USB port and it would not charge either...left it on charge for 1 day and it still would not charge. Also, found that there was no way to remove the battery, Apparently, the drill is a throw-away unit once the battery can no longer be charge. They have an 8 volt unit that has a replaceable battery...you can press a button and eject the battery. The 12 volt unit does not have a similar button. This is a serious design flaw.

I needed this drill to hang up my shelf of various knick-knacks and doodads. I was very excited because opened the box and put the drill on the charger. I waited for a few hours, then a few more hours, then a few days. I would take it off the charger to test it any time I walked by and the drill simply never turns on. It shows it charging but it clearly is not. Don’t waste your time

Package arrived quickly and looked great. Came in a handy case and is very lightweight, as advertised. Unfortunately, the drill would NOT charge. I tried plugging it into multiple receptacles, and tried using multiple cords thinking perhaps the cord that came with it was bad...but after being plugged in for 36+ hours, still no charge. I figured it was a fluke and ordered a replacement. The second one did the exact same thing. Don't waste your money on this product.

The media could not be loaded. Got this yesterday and it was DOA. Plugged it in, tried different outlets and different cords. Been plugged in 24 hours and the red light keeps blinking and will not charge. I messaged the seller and no reply. I was.going to return it but that'll just cost me more money. Pass this up if you're wise. I should have read the reviews before buying, many people sing the same song as me. Just Awful.

I bought the drill to install some furniture but it was defective and the drill would charge no matter how long it was plugged in. Do not recommend this brand for it poor quality

Please don’t buy this item. I haven’t even tried to use it and the battery is already dead ! I bought it two months ago but never use it. Today I unboxed it and tried to use it. Guess what nothing is chargeable !!! I can’t even returned it because it is over a month: Anyway, forget it ! I am getting a new B&D now. So don’t buy it!!
