No it’s not the most powerful impact on the market, but then again that’s not what it is intended to be. It is a 330fp impact that is nice and light weight, but is powerful enough to remove MOST of the bolts you will encounter. I have the (Red) brand mid torque as well, and it is definitely more powerful, but it also feels MUCH heavier in the hand. So basically, you have your compact (150 - 200) fp range for small jobs, your (700+) for your really high torque/rusted bolts, and your (300-400)fp for everything in between. So you might be saying “Why not just get a high torque impact wrench”?! The reason is because they get real heavy, real fast. So if you are just going to be just removing a few lug nuts, just grab your mid torque, and done. ... show more

    • Good mid weight mid torque ½" drive impact with no real use for me
Doesn't have the breakaway torque needed on most things I would grab a ½" impact for. It is a lot better to handle that the bigger brother 889/900 high torque impact. However it's still bulky and heavy enough not to want to grab it because of it's limitations. Not a bad tool to have if you're a mechanic, but for the at home guy it's not a need. I got it for a really great price on black Friday otherwise I would've not purchased this impact. I mainly take this one camping for the trailer stabilizer jacks, and if a wheel change is needed. However you'd need to break those lugs free with a breaker bar 1st. ... show more

I bought this for my husband. He wanted to be able to change a tire -away from home if needed. He said it was not powerful enough to use as he had wanted. 🥺 He kept it saying he could use it for other things. I was very disappointed. He is so hard to buy for! I thought I finally got something cool for him. :( Then I read and found out that there is a newer model and I was really upset. i bought this one instead of its bigger brother for the ease of handling because it provides all of the torque that i need for my application, which is some mechanical work on my tahoe. it has no problems removing wheels, nuts underneath the car. i purchased this drill specifically to install a 3.5" lift kit....it worked perfectly and provided more than enough torque. this drill is perfect in my hand and not too heavy. the led light is a nice touch! btw, if you are working with wheels....do yourself a favor and buy a set of torque sticks. i over tightened a nut and it sheared off the bolt while i was driving! Revised 3/23/2024 I absolutely love this drill! Ok here are the biggest pros about this product after years of used. The batteries last and last and last! The torque…it is capable of freeing all of the frozen nuts underneath my Tahoe. It is very well balanced and easy to used, I am glad I didn’t get big brother! It came with instruction which were clear. I purchased it for smaller jobs around the house. I have only used it one time. I took the blades off of my lawn mower to sharpen them. It worked well for that job. It did not hesitate to loosen the nuts. I do not know if it will work for larger jobs but I am happy so far. ... show more

Great Quality Build, Detent Pin is nice but would rather have gotten the Impact with the Hog Ring (Hog Ring Costed More). Used it at the Track for swapping Tires on my Drift Car, wasn’t impressed with the Torque it put out on a fairly new fully charger 20v 5amp/hr Battery. It does the job but it didn’t wow me what so ever. I felt my 3/8” drive Brushless XR Dewalt Impact had more punch behind it then this. I bought it because of how high the breakaway torque was on it. I doubt it’s as high as it’s advertised. I will say when you add Extensions or a socket over a wheel key it’s torque suffers tremendously. ... show more
