Cadmium and lead free. Riveted handles are comfortable and stay cool while cooking. Induction compatible. Works on gas, electric, glass, ceramic, halogen, etc. Oven safe to 350F. Dishwasher safe. Please do not use metal utensils as it may scratch the non-stick coating. Over-heating may damage non-stick coating. Putting a hot pan in cold water may reduce non-stick coating life span. My 8" pan finally bit the dust after over 5 years. The 10" is still nearly new, the large one died about two years ago. I still keep it just for my husband. He killed that one because he makes fried onions and mushrooms in it and likes them burned, he only knows one setting, HIGH. Mind you I'm not good on taking care of my pans and I use them all every morning as I make him full country breakfasts every morning. They will stay nonstick for years with minimum of care. Just don't put them in the dishwasher. I think that is what put the small one over the edge. After that it wasn't nonstick anymore. I fry the potatoes in that one. ... show more

    • Heavy with the look and feel of high quality!

First let me say that these skillets are heavy and look to be of high quality, of course only time will tell. Before using them I washed them in hot soapy water using a soft sponge, I hand dried them using paper towels. I seasoned them by coating them evenly with olive oil and heated them on a medium setting until the oil was hot. I swirled the oil around recoating the entire surface area, turned the heat off and let them sit until completely cooled down, wiped them out with paper towels and washed them. I have used all three of the skillets to fry various food items, bacon, sausage, chicken, pork chops, hamburgers and steak. Truly a nonstick surface, every item I've browned or cooked has come out perfectly! I will update this review if any problems arise with warpage or the nonstick surface. ... show more

I bought this set of skillets two years ago. I have been extremely pleased with them. With everyday use there are no scratches, no dents, dings or warping. They look as good today as they did when I first got them. Heat is evenly distributed. I was disappointed that the lids were not included with the purchase, but that was an easy remedy as my lids from my saucepans fit quite well. I do use pan protectors to separate them and they do stack nicely in my cupboard. They clean easily and nothing sticks to them. Please allow them to cool before you wash to prolong product life. Bought a set of these to replace the hodgepodge of worn out pans I had at the cabin. For the price, I figured if the menfolk ruined them when they cook on trips up north without me, I wouldn't be too upset. I am very happy with these pans. They are of a nice weight, they sit flat and haven't warped, and seem to heat very evenly. They have survived non-kitchen-savvy men who wouldn't even think of babying a pan, with zero scratches or peeling, for about six months now. I have gone through a lot of nonstick pans over the years, and these are by far the best ones I have purchased in about 20 years. I now need to replace my nonstick pans at home and I am ordering another set of these. I primarily cook with stainless and have tried to replace all my nonstick cookware with other alternatives, but there are just some things that nonstick can't be beat, so I will still keep a pan or two for eggs, and these are great pans. ... show more

When I open the package and got to hold the pans right away I ask my self why are these so cheap on price?!? Well I don't know why. These are good quality pans. The feel and ARE STURDY. Like any other non stick pans you have to take care of them and make sure u don't scratch the non stick surface. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is that if you use the 12" pan on a convection cook top the pan doesn't spread the heat evenly. For example, if you are making a pancake you will notice where the pan cooks more on the center than the sides. You may say" well that's the induction cook top" no. It's not. I use another set of non stick and cooks more evenly. Now, if you are going to use it on a gas range you might have a different result. Hope this helped you. ... show more

After my son took a cooking class, we have paid attention to the quality of the cooking equipment. We have used a lot of different pans and shared our experiences with each other. We were always concerned about how much coating we were ingesting. Before this, we thought Ikea had the best wearing pans. I purchased a set of these a year ago based on the reviews. After six months, they were so good, I purchased a set for my son and my daughter. The pan in the photo has been used nearly every day for the past year. It has never been "seasoned" or washed in the dishwasher. I clean it with a Scotch-Brite Dots Non-Scratch Dish Wand. To me, it looks like new. They are the best pans I have ever owned. ... show more

Pretty sure I searched for Tfal brand. But I am certainly not complaining! Pros: Slick. Hardly have to use oil to prevent sticking. Even without, nothing sticks. Can cook on lower heat and achieve the same goal as higher heat in the same time. Cons: Not dishwasher safe? Would I buy again? YES. But.. Instructions are to not use dishwasher detergent. Personally, I don't consider it clean unless it's been sanitized by the dishwasher. (you literally need boiling water for anything to be sanitized. I don't care what your dish soap says. It's not sanitized. Hands can't stay in the heat that will kill bacteria. You would end up with no skin on your hands, wrists, and arms.) So since it doesn't want dishwasher detergent used on it, I put these in a high heat wash with 1C vinegar. Clean the dishwasher and the pans at the same time. ... show more
