Lesson learned - always open the box as soon as the product is delivered. I ordered several items and did not need the iron right away. Unfortunately it sat unopened for over a month - my bad. Just opened the iron - the cap over the water tank is missing, the body of the is all scratched and dented. Looks like it might have been a return that was repackaged and sent out as new when it was not. I am past the 30-day return window so I have no recourse. Wow. This was almost half the price of the other iron model I considered. It gets hot, hot, hot and can get out wrinkles my last three irons could not. I almost gave up on ever having a hot iron again. Makes ironing easy and quick. I hope it lasts. So far so good!
