I’ve been eyeing a steam cleaner for months now. I specifically was debating on buying the little white box one all over tik tok. I decided to wait until Black Friday to make my final decision and I really wasn’t happy with the discount they were offering for it. I decided I was going to compare to other steamers on Amazon. AND BOY AM I GLAD I DID! This baby was WORTH IT! This WaitBird was nearly half off on Black Friday. It’s already $70 bucks cheaper than the white box brand at regular price. I was initially hesitant of buying the WaitBird because there wasn’t a bunch of video reviews on “clean-tok”. I’m sure there will be now! Let me set the scene for you. We just moved into an older and not remodeled home. We are planning to remodel sometime next year and didn’t want to spend a bunch of money quite yet. The prior owner had been developing dementia and owned some dogs. Well, they didn’t always make it outside to potty. Hence the hard to remove stains… We also have 3 dogs who have tracked in quite a bit of dirt and mud from outside. Our house came with a carpet shampooer and it has not done much to the stains or the dinginess in the carpets. So on to the actual review of the WaitBird! There are many attachments for the steamer. I have currently only used the floor attachment but can’t wait to use it on the old appliances and windows. The floor attachment can be used with any microfiber cloth but does come with 2 in the box. The clips on the floor attachment were fantastic. I was afraid they would fall off but nope! The cloth stayed on the entire time! I did cleaned the 3 of the dirtiest carpeted rooms in our house (~1,000 sq ft) in 6 hours. I did put some hard work into the floors and was not an easy chore. I also cleaned the parquet in the hallway which it did fantastic on. I probably filled up the tank 10-12 times. I had the steam on the highest setting and it ran about 30 to 35 mins each time. It only took 5 mins to warm up each time and I wish it took longer as that’s when I took my “union breaks”. The unit itself is compact and easy to store! It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I find the look of it to be retro and simply adorable. Yellow is not my favorite color; however, we decided to name ours Sunshine for fun :) Overall, definitely worth the money! I don’t believe it was made to be professional grade but it does the Lord’s work. We plan to use it on the old appliances left with the house, the windows, and I read that it could possibly help with removing the ungodly amount of wallpaper in the house! I also read that steamers are better to use when sterilizing than using chemicals (aka kids school germs). I’ll update as I use on more things. Enjoy the before and after pictures. I didn’t feel the need to label the pictures with before or after since there was such a drastic difference. My best advice is JUST BUY IT!

I bought this steamer for the price and the additional accessories. We’ve been cleaning the walls, floors, windows and my nemesis, the bathroom! Upon opening the box the whole thing looked plastic and kind of cheaply made. I received 6 small, round nylon brush attachments and two round ones of steel brushes, the small two piece clothes/window attachment, the large two piece wall/floor/rug attachment, a small angled nozzle attachment (works with the round brush attachments), two wand attachments, two towel covers each for the large and small attachments, a 400 ml funnel to put the water in and a strap to carry the machine which only weighs a couple pounds when full. And, most importantly, the machine and connected hand nozzle and hose were present as well. 😉. I can’t scrub or use some chemical cleaners due to a chronic health condition, so this was my last hope to clean and disinfect the home we are moving into. This little steamer has been a sturdy little champ this whole week! Cleaned the walls, baseboards and floors in a 10x12 and two 14x12 rooms and I’m still working on that darn bathroom which is a 6x10 full bath. I have steamed and scrubbed the tub and shower walls three times and it’s still… yucky. Not the steamers fault. The sink, countertop, window and medicine cabinet are spotless and the toilet is almost there. I think a small band of adolescent trolls used this bathroom. And the steaming was done AFTER two bouts with the scrubbing bubbles, a Teflon safe sponge, and what meager scrubbing strength I possess! Hence the mighty little Waitbird Steamer! I really didn’t think that it would clean as well as it has. The walls and floor are smooth and clean to the touch after just five hours of steaming. That includes the roughly 20 minutes it takes to release the pressure safely before refilling the tank. Each tank lasted us about 45 to 60 minutes so three fills in total that day. The bath took 3 hours all by itself and it’s still not clean! It still feels terrible close to the drain, the wall at the drain end of the tub and the built in soap dish washcloth holder thing. We also cleaned the bedroom walls and windows of two of the upstairs bedrooms on subsequent days. One room took almost two tanks to do! (I think the chief troll resided there.) To recap, my first impression was, “Oh boy, I hope it can do what I can’t!” and very quickly became, “Thank you Jesus, The Universe, kind fairy’s and gnomes, who/what ever came together to make this work, I’m VERY pleased with this little machine!” There are a few cons. To me they’re minimal but it may matter to others. 1. The hose could be twice as long as it is. I believe it’s 6 feet but noticed when cleaning walls it “hopped” on the upward stroke and occasionally fell on its side. The strap would have been lovely but that leads me to 2. The strap Velcro’s to the handle but the Velcro doesn’t hold and it actually fell from waist height twice. I managed to catch it the first time and thought the second one may have done it in the way it bounced but there were no cracks to the plastic casing and it worked on! 😮💨 3. This puppy gets hot! The casing, the wands near the connection areas and the hose. Makes sense as it’s a steamer but I thought there’d be a bit more insulation or something. It doesn’t burn as in scalding to touch but gets uncomfortable close to the body and on the hands. 4. The towel covers for the large and small attachments were pretty weak. Holes developed pretty quickly but I just used an old towel cut to size to replace them and it worked just as well minus the holes forming. All in all, even though it’s only been a week of hard labor, I give the WaitBird Steamer 5⭐️s and my deepest gratitude!

It came with all the attachments and was fast to heat up. The only issue is the small plastic brush bristles will melt. I saw them starting to morph so I did short bursts of steam in order to save the life of them. The directions say the fill capacity is 1100mL but I believe it's a little less. It comes with a fill cup at 400mL max. So I filled it to 300mL 3 times too equal a total of 900mL so that I would be safe. It over flowed. Now, I cleaned up the mess ensuring no water was anywhere else. Make sure you screw the cap on extra tight but not to brake! I chose the small head attachment and attached the small plastic brush to that. I plugged it in and flipped the switch on. It took about 5 minutes to heat up and then the light turned green. Now, since the tank was over filled the nozzle sprayed out a lot of water. But after that it worked properly. I feel it is powerful. On the handle there is a dial you can turn to min or max or in between. I had it on minimum at first then turned it up a little. I used it on my couch and after scrubbing spoiled areas, I wiped it with a white rag. So many dark stains came out. I was so happy and amazed. The photos are from after the couch dried the next morning. That was to make sure I got a precise picture since the couch was darker when damp. The price is lower now, so they raised their price by about $25 for prime day so don't wait until a sales day to purchase. I would buy now. It's a great little machine. Oh. And I used distilled water so there wouldn't be calcification build up and clogs. I would absolutely recommend this product even after only using one attachment. Now I know it will work in my shower and kitchen floors! The couch was the only thing I was concerned since it's delicate material. So, I recommend. It's small and won't be in the way. Easy to use. Just use short bursts of steam with the plastic brushes so they don't melt.

This steam vacuum cleaner works far better than I expected. It heats up quickly, produces strong and consistent steam, and removes stains with almost no effort. The unit is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and reaches corners well. The water tank lasts long enough to clean my whole house without refilling. I also love that it leaves the floors nearly dry and has very low noise. Perfect for homes with kids or pets. Overall, excellent performance and great value for the price. This thing does clean. He gets out the grime and the dirt in the corners that you couldn’t reach. Yes I burnt myself once one drop of this hot water and you will have a welt on your skin. The reason there is three stars is because I do not like the attachments I only like the nozzle. Two of the white cloths have already deteriorated after two days of use I deep clean my kitchen and I deep cleaned my bathroom and on day two they just broke apart. The long floor part is just an awkward angle. I feel like I can’t get it flat on my walls unless I’m standing sideways. Definitely could be a personal issue just not a fan.

It's a little intimidating when you first open the box. Because they give you so many attachments which is a good thing! at first I thought I'm never gonna figure this out but I have to say it is so easy. And that bright color yellow makes me smile every time i look at it. I do wish there was a way to see how much water is in the tank And the directions are not that clear about how much water to add. Though I did see here you listed the amount of water which which sure beats holding a flash light to the inside to see where the water level is! I also understand for safety it does take a bit of time for the water to cool down enough to be able to open to add more water. Waiting seems to take forever. Make sure you start off with the attachment over a sink because it does drop a lot of water before it starts to steam, but that's OK, it's lightweight. The cord and the hose are so long you don't have to keep moving the cord from outlet to outlet, that's great. I just wish it held more water
