    • AMAZING steamer, it does have it's flaws but all steamers have the exact same ones
My husband and I do one "group" gift for the house (oven, washing machine, TV, etc) and then my son (we) give one to each of us. This Christmas, the steamer was on our group list. About 2 weeks before Christmas I was hitting a brick wall with my mom's refrigerator glass for two solid days. I snuck this out of the box, used it for maybe 30 min and the shelf was clean but I also got caught red handed by my husband. I SWORE I would put it back wrapped under the tree right after the tank dried out. Guess who unwrapped an empty box Christmas day! I knew once it was in my hands, I'd never put it back up till then! Pro: STRAP, STRAP, STRAP - it has a STRAP!!! so it really is lightweight and portable, quick heat time, strong steam pressure with adjustable settings, lock in setting, multiple attachments but after using a steamer for 10+ years, the only thing I use it for and doesn't cause more of a mess than the original one to be cleaned is the high steam nozzle pressure nozzle.... , the size of the tank and heating time are designed with a great ratio (and that's important; a heating time of 1 min, you are dealing with a very small tank and will have to refill several more tanks before the job is finished and remember, that's not really a 1 min wait time, now you have to wait for it to fully depressurized then the 1 additional minute. Too big of a tank trying to get it done in all one tank, you're waiting 30 min+ heating time. But this one has a fairly large tank for it's size and still only takes minutes to be ready). Did I mention it also has a shoulder STRAP!!! lmao Cons: ***These are not cons for Waitbird, these are cons for all steamers marketed to the consumers*** There is never anywhere to wrap the cord and secure it down - I stick two of those new rubber appliance wrappers apart on the side and wrap the cord myself. There is never anyway to store the hose and nozzle. You can only lay it across the unit which is very unsettling for those of us want things tidy. Still working on coming up with my own solution for that one You can never physically use that rinky dinky measuring cup they have to fill the unit. a) it doesn't even fit the hole taking water so you're lucky if any actually makes it in, so small, you have to get more water every 30 seconds and then you end up flooding your floor before you even get started. I bought a $1 funnel with a stem that will fully fit down into the hole and just start pouring my bottled water through the significantly bigger circle I now have. FINAL NOTE and again not this steamer, my little yellow bumblebee is totally worth each and every penny hands down..... but be aware of what you are walking into if you've never used a steamer. Water + Heat = Steam and Steam - Heat = Water. Take your floors, heated steam over that area, take away the heat, now it's just wet. Cloth gets moist as the steam passes through and then picks up the water after the heat is gone. You will have a whole load of cleaning cloths by the end of the room and every thing is covered in streaks. No one explained that bacis formula and I got mad. Same thing with the glass, you are heating and now water is running down hopefully on a towel you've laid down under the glass (with one exception). But the cleaning power of the machine is a MUST have for every home. I use that high pressure nozzle and just take it to town such as our tile grout in the shower. I kid you not, it looks brand new but with being in the shower the excess left over water has a natural place to drain for me so no mess. For other big stubborn issues, like say one on my kitchen floor, without hesitation I'll pull it out but just for that one spot. This is not a daily, weekly mop - you're gonna have to keep your old one and take the burn that you excitedly thought you were never going to have to mop again.
