These martini glasses are beautiful and just the right size. My husband loved them but unfortunately one day the rim came off as you can see by the pic. It . We washed this by hand all the time. Very disappointing since they are reality nice glasses.

It's a really nice lead xtl glass and the walls aren't tissue paper thin like many. The blue stem is neat however, I'm not sure about the wine thing. The opening is pretty small. I find my nose just clears the thing and the whole wine breathing thing is iffy. I like it but for an everything generic wine glass I would recommend something with a larger opening. ... show more

It takes a lot to find a manhattan glass that Dean Martin might hold with two fingers while ruminating. I grow weary of martini glasses the size of dog bowls and have gone on excursions to antique stores to find the proper size. As a friend observed - such a glass is designed to slosh, requiring you to sit whilst consuming - to relax. The size is just right. The fragility is great.
