I bought this for my new ceramic tile flooring, which I put throughout the entire house. This baby is a game changer! No more stooping and sweating away as I push around my (quite wonderful) o’Cedar mop with the spinning bucket attachment. I reserve the o’Cedar mop system for my engineered wood floors now and it is terrific but requires a lot of elbow grease and back work. This steamer only needs water (distilled only) and a few fresh steamer mop heads and off I go. The steamer practically drives itself and I really don’t feel hot at all pushing it, even though the water gets steaming hot. Water receptacle could be bigger but ahhh, so what? Right when the water runs out, I always want to GENTLY remove the pads without burning myself (DO NOT TIP MACHINE UPSIDE DOWN! BURN HAZARD!) I check the pads to see if they’re really dirty and therefore need swapping out. I have a stack of extra mop pads handy and I swap out when they look really dirty. Then into the wash they all go (alone, with no other items), then I line dry them and put them away for the next time. My floors are softly glowing now and our feet and socks stay nice and clean! I’m saving on floor washing liquid. This uses NO cleaning products! Big win! Just distilled water and steam. I am delighted with this purchase and I find I am more than happy to steam my floors, whereas I always sort of dread mopping my engineered wood floors, which always ends in a sore, stiff back. This is a terrific cleaning machine. We are delighted with it. Enjoy!

The Shark scrubber got a lot of dirt out of my textured linoleum that my Bono cleaner missed. I didn’t find any directions in the instructions for how much Shark cleaner to mix with the (distilled) water so I guessed at that. I am very satisfied with this cleaner so far. It’s light weight, easy to use, a good price, came in one layer of heavy cardboard and a layer of lighter cardboard so well protected.

You know you're getting old when you get excited about cleaning equipment. This came yesterday, and I spent a great deal of the day today using it. I'll start at the beginning... Very easy to assemble. Just snap the handle into position. Use the little container to fill the reservoir on front. Takes about 1 ¹/² containers. Attach the "mops" by placing them next to each other on the floor and set the device down on them. I lightly pressed on the foot area on top of the scrubber to make sure they were in place. Plug it in and you will hear it start up. When you see the steam coming out, pull back on the handle, with your foot lightly holding the scrubbing part in place. Then select how much steam and scrubbing you want...1, 2 or 3. I went with 3 as we needed a deep clean. The mop does move a bit on its own, because those little scrubber pads are spinning so fast. It is very light weight and very easy to handle. I found if I just turned my wrist it would change direction the way I wanted it to. The pads got dirty, the floor got clean. No painful knees or wrists, no dirty water in buckets. This will get used a lot at this house. I hope it holds up. We do not have pets, just a river and plenty of dirt. Wish I knew about this little gem a long time ago! Also, I vacuumed all the hard floors before running the steamer. I read on reviews of the "all in one" machines that most people vacuumed ahead of using the ones that had the steam and vac in one anyway, so I saved some money and went with the simple one. Will be much easier to store and is so easy to use. I like that is has a cord and not a nonreplacable battery.

We had an older model Shark Steam Mop (rectangular mop head with slip on covers) that I loved for many years. It is still working and now is our basement mop, but I bought this when a coworker was raving about a similar spin steamer she had bought from another brand. The thing I love about the Shark mops is the ability to clean without chemicals, so when I saw they had a newer model that had the spin feature she was describing, I decided to get one. I've had this for awhile now and it does a great job. My two very minor complaints are 1) because the cleaning pads are round, you're not going to effectively get all the way into corners and 2) it's kind of a pain that the pads have to be washed without fabric softener as they end up being one of maybe three items in a very, very tiny wash load. Other than that, I love it!

I love this mop! We have 4 cats, 2 dogs and a husband who can't remember to change his shoes. Works well to help scrub up food bits and mud with very little effort. Love how the pads can be tossed in washer. I also abuse them and put them in the dryer, and they have held up great after a year.

Update#2 May 2025, Still so happy with my purchase and it is still going strong and have had no problems. Update 5/14/2024. I still LOVE this steamer. Every time I use it, I say to myself how glad I am I bought it. It is so easy to use and love knowing my floors are really clean. /. Just received the steamer this week and gave it a go today. I have always been happy with Shark products and this is no exception. I was able to catch a special and got it for about $45 less than the currently posted price. It’s simple to assemble and easy to fill the tank with the provided cup. The tank held about two of the cups. At first I thought it might be a little heavy for me, but because it is self propelled that is not the case. It did a great job cleaning and I am not in pain! I like the steam because it cleans better and sanitizes. There are three settings all with steam. I have ceramic tile and laminate in one room. Though I am a single, no pets, and only have about 750 sq ft, I never felt the floors were getting clean. Now I do! Look at the pads after! Highly recommended.
