-This is the one I picked after a decade of wanting a steam mop and trying various brands and styles. -Very versatile and easy to use -Pretty quiet in the mop configuration, louder in the handheld configuration ( like a vacuum) -Holds up pretty well to a lot of use -Loved it for deep cleaning the grout on the counter and floors -Recommend that you get extra mop pads (that way you can get a bunch dirty= less loads of laundry) -Recommended extra grout head if you have lots of grout (If you need to do a lot of deep cleaning) -I have yet to need to use the extra steam setting, it is just that effective (without ruining my floors or counters) -To me, worth the bit of space it takes up, even if I still lived in an apartment I have wanted a steam mop for the last decade or so and chose this one out of all the ones that I have tried via friends and family. All the attachments and the fact that it can become hand held has made deep cleaning all parts of the house easy. I used it initially to deep clean the ground on the counter and then the floors in the kitchen and It did an amazing enough job that I discovered that the grout was not the color I grew up thinking it was. I did hand scrub it in the past, but I clearly didn't get it as clean as I thought I was. The main reason I got a steam mop was because I do not like the feel of the floors after using other mopping options and this is a no chemical way to keep up after kids and messy adults. The floors dry quickly, also perfect with kids and pets running though, and there is no smell. I don't really care for fragranced things, but there are options you can get for the mop pads. I did get extra mop pads so that I can get a bunch dirty and then wash them all together instead of just the two that it comes with. That and to get an extra grout scrubber head attachment would be my additional recommendation. When using the handheld side of things, it can be a bit loud, but it is not outrageously loud. I would put it up there with a vacuum. In just the mop configuration it is pretty quite. I put it through its paces the first few days that I got it and it has held up really well over the last couple of months. There is a window attachment that I tried for fun and I am not totally sold on it, but that is also probably user error. It would be great if there was gunk on the window though. I am also sure that you could manage to set it up to steam your clothes. Lastly, I like it enough and have talked enough good things about it that my aunt and father want to borrow it. They both have tried various steam cleaners over the years too and know that I do not recommend things lightly. Good luck and happy cleaning!

I’ve been able to use it for cleaning countertops, grout, steaming furniture, clothing (to de-wrinkle), and even steamed my yoga mat after a nice hot and sweaty class! Works great and I love that there are no harsh chemicals needed.

This steamer, when it works, is simply astonishing. We have granite floors almost all over the house, and we desperately needed something just like this. On smooth stone, it is a dream, glides beautifully and cleans better than anything I've ever seen before. I really had trouble deciding how many stars. When it works, amazing! But I know how flimsy it is, because I had to return the first one. This is the 2nd unit from Amazon. 20 minutes after receiving the first unit, when I assembled it, then removed the detachable part for the first time, to test the attachments, would not stick back on the unit. Nothing we did would make it latch again to the body part of the stick. We did not apply undue pressure, nor was the part broken, it simply didn't seem to clip in the correct spot. I returned it to Amazon and bought a replacement, which works incredibly well on the floor. The fact that we had that problem tells me that the item is simply not durable or well made. The 4 stars is because frankly, IF it makes it through steam cleaning my entire house just ONCE, it's cheaper than hiring a floor finisher for a single day, and I think/hope it will. Also, being able to deep clean the floor myself tells me it's really clean, and I can do it at my own pace. Any use beyond a single whole house floor deep cleaning is a bonus. One of the reasons I wanted this model in particular was for the window steaming squeegee. Unfortunately, I have to say that that part doesn't work well. It does steam, and it does squeegee, but it's very awkward, and very very wet. For an outdoor window, it would probably work to clean off dust and grime, but then you have a reach problem, unless your window tops are within reach (none of mine are, they are all taller than me outside). If it didn't steam as well as it actually does, I'd have given it 2 stars... but you know, when it works, it's a marvel. Incredibly easy to use, very balanced so you don't get tired, and I'd even say FUN to steam mop. I figure the water boiling element inside must resemble one of those instant teapots you plug in. They burn out if you let them dry out, so I am doing only small sections of the floor at a time. The thing about granite floors is that sweeping is generally enough, and stains are not visible, so we haven't deep cleaned it in, well, years. A whole house cleaning will take some time. Of course, I hope it lasts longer, but I won't complain if it doesn't. I will come back and drop the stars if it can't even make it through 1 cleaning 1 time. I know, I don't sound confident in the product, but hey, I had to return the first one, and I never even got to use it. I'll edit if I need to.

I must start out by saying, I did a ton of research before settling on this manufacturer and model of steam mop. A TON! And at the end of my search, I settled on this one, which seemed like a pretty good deal because it also included an extra mop cover and attachments. The first place I tried this mop was in the kitchen, with our horrible old linoleum floor. It’s ancient and has lots of issues, but I just wanted to finally get it as clean as possible while we’re waiting on the start of our remodel. Just using the standard mop cover that came with the steam mop, I gently pushed it across the floor and HOLY STEAM! It left a clean, slightly damp streak across the floor. My husband just happened to walk in when I did it and he was shocked it how much cleaner that section of floor was. The other side benefit to using a steam mop, is that it dries TONS FASTER than a traditional mop. I also DIDN’T USE any CLEANING PRODUCT, so there were no residual chemical scents in the kitchen when I finished, which is also a nice bonus. Once the floor was finished, I moved to the tile counter, which was even worse than the floor. The old grout was stained, chipped, and filthy. I had scrubbed and scrubbed at it in the past, but even after breaking a sweat, it hardly showed. With the angled brush head, I was able to remove a lot of the crud. The steam just blasted most of it off the grout! And again, I did this with steam alone, which means that once it is dry, I can refill some of those missing grout lines, to prevent some of this mess in the future. Although there are gaps in the grout, it looks SO MUCH BETTER! (The before picture is not the full counter, but this was the only one I took before I cleaned it. It was so embarrassing!) Very happy with this unit and can’t wait to start using it on the remodeled kitchen. It certainly makes these kinds of chores much easier, if not a little fun!

I was very excited to receive this steam mop, but unfortunately, my happiness was short lived. As soon as I got it, I read all the instructions and got it started right away. It worked great and I was in love with how my floors looked. However, when I went to use it again about a week later, it would only stay on for about a minute before shutting off. I repeatedly tried to turn it back on, but it would shut off again after just a few seconds. I tried again a few days later, and the same thing happened. Life got busy and I just plugged it back up tonight, and it stopped working after about 30 seconds. I have had the steam mop for exactly 2 months... I called Amazon and they said I am past the 1 month return period. They referred me to Square Trade, which is the company who provides the service plan I purchased, and they said they cannot help me because it is still under the manufacturer's warranty. So... I called Bissell. They say there is nothing they can do for me. They will not send me a new machine. I am welcome to take it to a recommended service center and see if they can fix it for me. Excuse me, but what? I don't need it serviced. I need a new machine because this one is clearly defective. The thing has only worked once and is in pristine condition (they kept asking me if I dropped it!) So, I guess I will schlep across town to see if I can have my brand new steam mop serviced, since no one believes in making things easy for the customer. I could understand this if I had had it for a year, but it's literally been two months. NOT IMPRESSED at all with Amazon, Square Trade, or Bissell. Don't waste your time or money.

This has been one of the most amazing cleaning tools in my life!!! I can't even explain how much I love this, but i'll try lol. It takes up stuck on glue, and pretty much anything sticky! I have dogs who are house broken, but use puppy pads at night due to the fact we can't have a doggie door, and sometimes our big dog only gets half on the puppy pad... When this happens I pick up the mess, or Swiffer the pee right quick and to make sure there is no bacteria left I take the steam mop over it and you can't tell there was anything there! Which is amazing because the house we rent has wood floors that need to be resealed and everything soaks up into them! This mop gets deep into the floors and takes the smells and bacteria right out! However, when doing my floors I have to make sure not to set the mop on the hard wood floors to cool down because it will leave white marks in the wood, probably because of my floors needing to be sanded and refinished. This also works on my tile floors with NO problems what so ever! I have used it on my windows as well (on the lowest heat setting) and I don't think my windows have ever been so clear since I had children! Lol! This works on my bathrooms, and glass desk, and also on my furniture! We had a problem with bed bugs because we didn't know the house we moved into had them, and we couldn't afford an exterminator, but he told us steaming the furniture would be the cheapest way for us to get rid of them, and he was SO RIGHT!!! We have been bed bug free for a while now, but it is best to steam every day, to every other day if you have those irritating bed bugs. (I know that there is a stigma around bed bugs, but no one should be ashamed of something out of their control!). I also love that the mop head and cloth for the attachments can be thrown into the washer! I always have extra just in case my originals are being washed when I need to use the steam mop. So I would get it because it will change your life for the better!

First of all, bought in November. Have used a dozen times, and it’s already leaking. Hopefully bissell warranty is speedy and trouble free. Works better than my previous shark steamer. What I hate: On this point, I think it’s actually dangerous: In order to put the steam pads on and off, you really have to work hard to crank the fabric around the outer corners of which only two are rounded. It’s hot, sharp and dangerous. Best if the mop is up on a counter while you manage the end of it off the counter edge, because you cannot apply a pad while it’s upright…and who wants dirty pads having just mopped the bathroom in your counter space?! Gross. My shark was a simple Velcro attachment pad, which was incredibly easy: step on the tab and pull the machine away from the wet rag. Push the mop into a new pad. No touching gross stuff and can do upright. I also felt the shark pads were more cushioned and you can really press down and get in the grooves of the floor. Not these pads. Next, there are attachments that are not intuitive and I still don’t know how to use them even after looking on the website. Other attachments are somewhat difficult to take on and off, perhaps because there’s so much plastic to plastic (fittings). I’m just waiting to burn myself. Finally, the removable steam container is very handy, except that it is tall and thin, and there is never a situation where I don’t knock it over several times, which is probably the reason it started leaking. It does not have a wide base upon which to sit. It even falls over when I’m trying to be exceedingly careful to avoid a fall over. The last thing I will say about this machine is that because of the plastic fittings snapping the removable steam container on and off the main machine is extremely challenging. Challenging to get on, challenging to get off. Try doing it with wet hands, and it will become even more difficult. I don’t know how a mop like this ever passed any user acceptance reviews, But it’s like they didn’t test it with users at all. For now, I’m going to appreciate it for its steam output quality, and keep an eye on reviews for a replacement when this thing eventually breaks again. But I put money into extra pads and such, so I’m stuck with what I’ve got for now. It definitely cleans floors. Update: broke permanently 1 year and 4 days later

I really like this mop for several reasons, but if I had it all to do over again, I would buy a separate handheld steam cleaner and steam mop. I thought buying them as one entity would save space and money, but I regret that decision. Pros: As a mop, it’s just about perfect. It is so easy to use, you just plug it in, wait for the on button to stop flashing, press the on button, and choose between high or low steam. It makes my floors look great, and they feel great to walk on after. It does a great job of getting daily dirt off my floor. The handheld steam cleaner comes with tons of attachments of various sizes and shapes, and it’s easy to switch attachments. Cons: As a steam mop, it will never be able to do as deep of a clean as a mop and bucket, so you’ll probably need to buy or borrow one of those for an occasional deeper clean. It also has a tendency to leave floors kind of streaky, but that may just be par for the course when it comes to steam mops! I’m honestly not a fan of the handheld steam cleaner. This is the first handheld steam cleaner I’ve ever used, so I’m not an expert, but it really has a lot of flaws. First of all, the control for the steam is on the canister, rather than the part you’re holding. That is incredibly unsafe and just inconvenient. If you’re using one of the concentrator attachments and something surprises you or you trip or you just drop it, the steam is still coming out of that attachment at full blast. Imagine if your child came up to ask you a question and got in the way, they could be badly burnt! Secondly, if you are cleaning something really dirty and need to wipe it off while cleaning, you have to turn off the steamer, wipe, then turn it back on again. That takes 30 seconds each time! It’s just inconvenient. On another note, it’s really difficult to attatch and detach the handheld canister from the mop, as well as the hose to the canister.
