The consistent warm heat is soothing and the belt is very comfortable due to the lovely, soft velvet. The vibration is nice too because it isn’t too strong. Usually I prefer a steady, constant vibration but the gentle ebb and flow of the first setting is very relaxing. The half hour run time is very nice too. I was nervous about getting this because almost all of the back massagers didn’t have good reviews but I got this for my husband for his birthday. He absolutely loves it and uses it all of the time. There are 2 heat settings and 3 vibrations settings I believe ( I could be wrong) The high heat setting GETS HOT so it makes sense why there is a safety turn off feature. It’s is great for a hurting lower back which is what my husband uses it for. I got him the Cordless one so he can move around and about while massaging his back. Or you can keep it plugged up and use it as well. The extender belt doesnt really make sense to us but we are probably just dumb and need to read the instructions lol. Love! This makes it possible to keep going even with back pain. It heats up nicely and the vibration (massage) feels good. Nice Velcro strap allows to adjust anywhere you need to. The warming was very good...almost too hot. The "massage" was really just vibration. I'm used to my shiatsu massage device and thought that's what I was buying. Overall it was just too bulky and difficult to use with the cord. If this was cordless and actually did massage it would be great because it does heat so well. ... show more

Edit 2: after about a month of using it (plugged in) it started squeezing LOUDLY. It’s obnoxious and I can’t use it with the horrid sound it makes. Don’t buy this. EDIT: giving 1 star after they reached out and did not provide me any help. This works fine but it shouldn’t be marketed as wireless when it lasts less than one cycle when unplugged. I feel very disappointed with this purchase and would return it if they allowed returns. Giving it 2 stars because it does work fine when plugged in, but that’s not why I bought it and should have gone with the cheaper model considering. ... show more

This is a must for my post-workout back soreness. It is soft and adjustable. Comes with an extension to make belt longer. It gets warm quickly and has different settings for the pulses, which I like.
