Maybe this works better for some colors than others, but for my dark brown hair with lots of gray this is a LIFESAVER between colorings. I really prefer it to the sprays I’ve tried, especially for areas right around the face where you need to be precise. A pallet lasts me for many months. I find the small side of the brush is more effective than the large. I apply just where needed based on my hairstyle that day. It stays on until I wash my hair (only 1-2x per week). The only annoying part is that it will come off under my nails if I scratch an itch or something like that. The photos were taken about one minute apart here, it’s very easy to apply and maybe not 100% match to my color but makes a huge, huge difference especially from a few feet away.
